At Backstage, we've always strived to help you create impeccable event experiences. Some time back, we introduced the Zoho Backstage for Attendees app for Android and iOS to improve attendee experience on the go. The app came loaded with a ton of great features including personalized agendas, discussion channels, and session participation.
We also gave you the option to rebrand the attendee app and make it all about you and your organization. This time around, we've streamlined the entire process and made it so much easier. You can request your rebranded apps right from the Settings tab of your portal in a few clicks rather than having to get in touch with our support team to initiate the process. Everything happens in-app now. How convenient is that?
The app allows you to combine your brand's personality with the many features of the default Backstage attendee app and give your audience an impactful and engaging event experience.
You can get your rebranded app in three simple steps. And, as always, no coding is necessary.
Step one: Provide your brand assets
Your event app is an extension of your organization's identity. The logo, the colors, and the splash screen are important aspects of your branding, and using these in the event app will tie your event's aesthetics together consistently across all platforms. Once you're in the Custom Apps tab, choose your app's name, pick the background color of your splash screen, and upload your logo to brand your app. After that, add your digital certificates from Google Play and Apple, and your customized Android and iOS apps will be generated.
Step two: Download your app files
The app will be built in seven to ten business days, and you'll be notified by email when it's ready. Download the rebranded app from the provided link and use it instead of the default Backstage attendee app for all the events in your portal. Moreover, you can recall your app and modify your app’s details at any point during the development process.
Step three: Take your app live
Publish your Android and iOS apps on the Play Store and App Store and make them available for the world. The updated links will be added to your event's microsite to make the apps easily accessible for your attendees.
Also, you don't have to worry about maintaining your rebranded apps. They will be updated with the latest features and improvements throughout your subscription period. All you have to do is download and publish the latest version of the apps on the Play Store and App Store.
This feature is available for members on the Ultimate plan and those that own the Ultimate add-on.
