Is it possible to default the format of new documents created within Zoho Docs as DOCX for Word, and XLSD for Excel.
The scenario is as follows:
1. I create a spreadsheet in Zoho Docs online.
2. Later I want to update the spreadsheet on my laptop using my local copy of MS Excel (due to additional features).
3. The Zoho Docs drive in Windows Explorer indicates that the spreadsheet I created in Zoho Docs online is in a Zoho format.
4. Therefore, will need to export the Zoho spreadsheet to MS Excel (say XLSX) using Zoho Docs online.
5. Update the local copy on my laptop using MS Excel.
6. Replace the Zoho Spreadsheet version I created online with the MS Excel version.
If we could set a default document format in Zoho Docs then it eliminates the conversion and replacing process.
Is there another way of doing the above? The key point in the workflow is that the initial document is created online in Zoho.
Quite often I work at client sites where they do not allow us to download the Zoho Docs folder on the local PC due to security limitation and therefore I am forced to create documents online.
