Domain name move

We have a domain name attached to a Zoho paid site. We want to discard the current paid site and move the domain to a free Zoho site that I just built under the same account. What is the best way to do this to minimize downtime for the site? I'm thinking the steps are as follows:

1) delete the paid site

2) upgrade the free site to a paid site

3) add the domain name to the new paid site

4) publish new paid site

Can someone verify that this is the best way to move a domain name to a new Zoho site while minimizing downtime or suggest a better process? Thanks.
