Field hidden by rule does not capture value

Hi,

I just discovered a weird behavior in Zoho Forms.

I send a Forms that is propulated with hidden data through field alias (picklist 1, "Type" and picklist 2, "Who do you want to speak with?") The link looks like: link?picklist1=sumthing&picklist2=something

Picklist 1 is hidden. If it's option one, then it shows picklist 2. If it's option two, it hides picklist 2.

In both cases, the value prepopulated in picklist 1 correctly gets captured in Zoho Dorms. The problem is that the prepopulated value in Picklist 2, when it is hidden by the rule, does not get captured by Zoho Forms nor is it sent over to Zoho CRM, even if it has a value (by field alias).

I think fields hidden by rules register their values whereas fields that are always hidden register their values. I need the value inside the field hidden by a rule to be captured by Zoho Forms. Please help.
