The Zoho Projects Documents paradigm only allows documents to be uploaded to Zoho Projects. That can be very useful. But many project oriented firms maintain a project folder on a document management system where all project documents must go, whether that's a network drive or Zoho Docs/TeamDrive or G Suite Google Drive or whatever.
For instance, we maintain all our docs on G Suite Google Drive. We need to be able to link to those documents in Projects.
Instead all Zoho Projects Documents does is allow me to select a document from Google Drive and download it to Zoho Projects and convert it to a Zoho document. For us, that's a recipe for disaster, now we'd have duplicates of projects documents spread in G Suite and Zoho Projects.
Please consider adding a simple command to the documents section - "link to Cloud to Document/Folder". That should allow us to select a document/folder on G Suite Drive and create a link to it.
We would also like to be able to disable "from cloud" to stop people from assuming they are linking to a Google document when all they are doing is creating a duplicate in zoho format in Projects.
Lastly, Zoho is still not compatible with G Suite Team Drive which has been out for well over a year, if you're going to continue to advertise G Suite integration you should support G Suite Team Drive.
Also, I know that linking to a document in G Suite Drive will require our users to have permission to access that document but that is our cross to bear - if they are part of the project we're also going to have given them access to the project folder on G Suite.
Thank You
