How can I compare data from two reports into a third report?

I'm using zoho creator to make a simple interface for me to manage a client database and the services I provide.

I have two forms:

Student form - has a numeric field where I record the number of minutes that student is allotted to receive per month.

Note form - has a numeric field where I can specify the number of minutes the student received for that particular session.

I want to be able to compare the two numbers and look at the result to see if the student is over or under the number of minutes alloted for a given month.

I'm trying to work around my lack of programming knowledge by creating other forms with lookups and formulas, but not getting a result.

I'm guessing this is some kind of workflow function? or something else?

I've combed through the vault here and finding other questions similar to mine but maybe a bit more complex and not really understanding the solutions.
