How to implement Steps in Blueprints in CRM

We want to implement all the little steps of our processes into blueprints in the CRM, since it’s very easy to understand.

We are now facing the issue, that it get’s really hard to overview so many stages for every blueprint step. We thought about making filtered self looping transitions, to mimic this behavior without the stages:

This could be hard to maintain though. Is there any other solution to this requirement?
