I have a csv file listing inventory. I must get that file into my ecommerce website. the db for my site is structured differently. I need to be able to import the inventory csv file daily. problems: the inventory csv file includes product names, categories and descriptions - but i have much of that info set up differently on my site - so i don't want the imported file to override that info. however, the inventory file has new products so i must be able to import the names and descriptions of the new products (never the categories). Sounds complicated, but is really not that complicated in theory. I do not know enough about db creation to make it really smooth. i was able to sort of get it going in MS Access, but computer changes makes MS Access not the best option. I need help developing this.
