New Built In QR/Barcode Generator Print Settings

I'm trying out the new QR/Barcode generator field in Creator. I would think most people will want to print these, like I do. I am not seeing any way to control the height or width of the barcode for printing (inside the print/pdf template builder). The "Format value" settings don't seem to do anything. I'm trying to print an 8-digit barcode to a standard 2"x1" label and the barcode is huge and taking up like 3 labels. Of course I can scale my printer settings, but that is not ideal. Currently I use a third party service via URL embedded in a Richtext field and I can control these settings in the URL call to the service. But I was really hopeful that I could stop relying on the 3rd party service. Any chance more advanced features will be added to this generator? It would be ideal to customize the human readable text too - font, placement (put it on top of the code, or don't show it at all), adding prefixes or suffixes that aren't part of the code, etc, etc. But controlling the height and width of the barcode for printing is absolutely essential or this new feature is all for naught!
