You've probably made a lot of connections at your event and have a lot of people interested in your product or service. However, for an event to truly succeed, you need to be able to build on those connections, to make your attendees your customers and your customers your patrons. You have to build a relationship with your audience that lasts a lot longer than the duration of your event. You'll also want to get insight on lead status, pursue prospects, run campaigns, and do so much more even as you organize your event.
By integrating Zoho CRM with Backstage, you can do all of this and more, such as storing a record of your attendees, getting insightful data on sales, or managing campaigns. And the best part is it can all be done from anywhere at any time because it's all on the cloud. While the integration can be set up from either Backstage or Zoho CRM, you'll need a Zoho CRM account to proceed with it. Also, your events will be listed as Zoho Backstage campaigns in your Zoho CRM account.
Access all attendee information easily
You never know when you'll need certain information about an attendee, so it's good to have all their details in one place. Access attendee records in seconds by syncing your events with your CRM account.
You can either synchronize automatically by enabling the Portal sync toggle or manually by clicking the Push to CRM link in the Attendees tab of a particular event. Your attendees and guests can be synced as either contacts or leads.
Make your customers a part of your events
You'll be conducting a variety of events throughout the year, and you'll want to invite your leads and contacts to most of them. So as soon as you configure tickets and publish your event in Backstage, you can start inviting them to the event from your CRM account. This can be done from the Campaigns module in Zoho CRM.
Track sales statistics
While you do get a lot of analytics on sales from Backstage, with a CRM integration, you can push the boundaries even further. You can view a graphical representation of the total amount received from sponsors and ticket sales, the amount you've spent on the event, and the profit made through the event. You have to add your expenses to the campaign manually, and this in turn will be used to calculate your total expenditure and eventually your net profit.
Other Zoho CRM features that can be of use for your events are SalesSignals and Scoring Rules. SalesSignals gives you sales notifications in real time, while Scoring Rules lets you gauge the performance of Zoho Backstage campaigns by giving them points based on a set criteria.
