Spotlight 8: Gear up your staff for event day



It takes an army and then some to run an event successfully, and how smoothly an event runs depends largely on its team. Zoho Backstage has all the tools your staff needs to run the event without any hitches. Be it juggling a multitude of tasks at the check-in desk, bridging the many gaps in communication, or even lending speakers a helping hand, they can do it all from right here. 
 
Once you add a member to your event team as staff in Backstage and give them access to that event, they can perform the following actions from their account:

Check in attendees 

In Backstage, the staff are in control of every part of attendee management. They can check in attendees in a snap through both the web app and the organizer mobile app (available on both Android and iOS). They can keep the attendee details up to date during check-in, manage the attendee list, reassign an attendee's ticket, and handle guest check-ins.



Make announcements  

Events are well-known for their unpredictability, and even the best-laid plans go astray. However, your staff can do their part in giving attendees a seamless experience by keeping attendees informed about the latest changes using Announcements. It's the best option to get all event participants on the same page every step of the way.


 

Assist speakers

Your staff can also upload presentations and add polls to sessions so everything is ready for the event. On event day, this allows them to help speakers get the session going with minimal hassle. Whether handling Backstage's projector mode, helping out with live polling, or moderating attendee questions, your staff can stay by the speaker to support them through it all.
