It seems like "new and simpler 4.0" is starting to become to simplified for its own good.
Another headache my company is experiencing (
along with this problem, and others ) is that when you create a new task, the email to notify the owner is now terribly generic: "Task Added"
Previously it used to contain "[Project Name] - Task Name"
This needs to be changed back, or at least give users an option to customize the subject fields, and not just for New Task creation, but for all email notifications as they are all now just clutter in a mailbox when there is no description Subject, for example:
"Task Closed", "Task Added" "Task Updated" --- What task??? What Project??? I don't want to open every email.
What makes matter worse is these get threaded in Gmail... which there was already an issue with Task Comments. Now it happens to everything.
For anyone also having similar issues with the new and "simpler" 4.0, my company is close to switching to
http://www.teamworkpm.net/ which addresses all our problems with 4.0. But, we are riding it out a little longer as to switch will be a pain.
For now we've all switched back to the old version.
