Total hours issue(?)

Hello,

we are a bit confused because when testing the Zoho Project we ran into this issue(?):

We opened and assigned a new task with these details (for example):

- work hours per day: 10

- start date: 12-12-2018 00:00

- due date: 12-13-2018 00:00

- duration: 2 days (20 working hours)

The problem is, we can add even 60 billable hours under the log hours and set the task complete.

Afterwards the system will close the task and add this 60 hours to the total of the project, although there will be -40 hours in the task status window near this given task.

Nevertheless this 60 hours is added to the total despite that we obviously don't have that much time till due date.

Could it be a bug? Because this way the total hours of the project could be relatively easily exploitable.

Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
