Understanding Schedules

I consider myself vaguely intelligent and generally pretty good at CRM type stuff, but Zoho Schedules have got me stumped. I'm sure there is a really easy answer to this, but I can't figure it out.

I need schedule to run a particular function each at quarter past each hour. My issues:

1) The hourly option, if selected, only gives 2-12 hour intervals rather than hourly

2) If you select the 2 hour interval, it seems to run hourly anyway, which is good but slightly odd

3) The Execution Start Time only gives either o'clock or half past the hour (irritating)

4) if I select to execute at half past the hour (later than actually required), it still runs on the hour rather than at the selected execution time.

Has anyone else had similar issues? How can I resolve this?
