It is always a pleasure to work with the wonderful members of the ZoHo family! I do hope you are doing well today.
I am hoping that you can assist me with something. I am having trouble getting a form to do what I what it to do.
I would like to send a form, from a particular record in my CRM, no problem, I made a template in the CRM with a button linking to the form. The form has the advanced field "ZoHo CRM". so once the form is submitted it will "update the record" via the form integration. I have completed up to this far without issue.
The form that is submitted will have information that I wish to send to a particular email address. The person who receives this information will need to provide a document in response. I would like that document to automatically come back to the CRM record the original form was sent from.
That is the problem. I thought initially that I would make a separate form with just a file upload, call it in the email notification of the first forms submission and use field aliases to insert the information from the first form. However, apparently, the advanced field "ZoHo CRM" can not be used in aliases, cannot be manually updated or edited in any way.
So, how will I accomplish my goal? I need the person who receives the first form to provide a document in response, and I need that document to get back to the correct CRM record in an automated fashion.
I eagerly anticipate the wisdom you have to be shared with me. Please let me know if I can provide any further data.
