  1. Use a mobile device (phone app and its camera) to record the check-out or check-in of a physical item.
  2. Using a Creator app, User scans the QR code on a physical item:
    1. App finds the corresponding record in Creator app.
    2. The record auto-populates (via code and workflows), various record-level fields.
    3. then the user is put into record edit mode in the creator app.
  3. It is probably acceptable for the physical item to bear two different codes: one which represents check-in and one which represents check-out.

 

I welcome ideas on how to approach this, as well as any starter code or barebones application you are willing to share.
