I have a webhook configured for events 'conversation.created', 'conversation.visitor.replied' and 'conversation.operator.replied'. And I send a few messages as user and as operator via a widget on the site, connected telegram bot and WhatsApp business account.
Widget:
- all events received on webhook's URL
WhatsApp:
- 'conversation.created' not received, others events received
Telegram:
- only 'conversation.operator.replied' received.
Webhooks for Telegram are not a big problem, since they can be further configured outside of SalesIQ via the Telegram API - but still, if it is possible to receive from SalesIQ, it would be more correct for us, using a single entry point.
Losing a webhook for WhatsApp is a problem, because due to this, the user's first message will actually not be sent to the webhook.
I would like to clarify - is this expected behavior for Telegram and WhatsApp integrations or is it a bug? Orif this is some kind of mistake on my part in setting up, then I would be grateful for advice or suggestions for setting up.
