We've added a bunch of updates to improve your invoicing experience – a new report, discount preferences, a new edition for mobile apps, and more. Here's what's new:
Customer Balance Summary Report
The Customer Balance Summary Report helps you keep track of the payments you are yet to receive (Closing Balance) from your customers. To access this report, go to the Reports module and select Customer Balance Summary under Receivables.
Default System Preference for Tax Rounding (Global Edition)
Previously, when choosing to sell items at tax-inclusive or exclusive rates, the rounded- off tax amount could either be calculated only at the line-item or transaction-level. The new Default System Preference option offers a hybrid approach to this, where the rounded-off tax amount will be calculated at the line-item level for tax-inclusive items and at the transaction-level for tax-exclusive items.
Flat Discounts on Tax Inclusive Items
You can now apply flat discounts for tax-inclusive items when you've configured discounts to be applied before tax. This provides greater flexibility over percentage-only discounts, especially when an item's value is high.
Mobile Updates
- We've introduced a dedicated edition of the app for Kenya.
- You can change the order in which line items are displayed while creating transactions. (iOS)
- The Sales Receipts module is now supported in the Android app. (Global edition)
That sums it up for now. You can visit the
