Hello, everyone!
As we gear up to say goodbye to this year, spare a few moments to check out what we have in store for you this December. Read on to know the latest features in Zoho Invoice:
Integrate with Zoho Sign to digitally sign documents
The long-awaited integration with Zoho Sign is here! Link your Zoho Invoice organization with Zoho Sign to digitally authenticate your invoices and estimates. Here is what you can do with the integration:
- Get your Zoho Invoice user's signature on invoices and estimates
- Sign recurring invoices automatically
- Get your client's signature on estimates through the Client Portal
- Sign invoices converted from estimates automatically
To set up the integration:
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Zoho Apps.
- Click the Connect button next to Zoho Sign.
- You will be redirected to Zoho Sign to set up your signature.
- In Zoho Invoice, you can then configure the integration preferences.
Note: This integration is available for all Zoho Invoice editions except the Indian edition.
Configure your sender email preferences
Worried that your emails are ending up in your customer's spam folder? To avoid this, you can now authenticate your sender address domains by adding DKIM and SPF records in Zoho Invoice. Zoho Invoice has classified domains into 3 categories to help you identify the sender addresses that are most likely to mark your emails as spam:
- Unauthenticated (No SPF and DKIM records)
- Authenticated (Has both SPF and DKIM records)
- Public (Gmail, Yahoo mail, etc.)
To configure this option:
- Go to Settings > Emails > Sender Email Preferences.
- All your sender email addresses will be listed here, or click + Sender to add a new sender email address.
- Click Authenticate Now next to the domain you want to authenticate.
- Enter the SPF and DKIM values, and click Validate.
You can read more about how to configure this option here: help document.
Restrict access to price lists
A price list is a useful way to customize the rate of your items to be either higher or lower. However, you may not want all your Zoho Invoice users to set these rates. You can now restrict access to the Price Lists module based on the user roles in your organization. By default, users with access to the Items module will also have access to the Price Lists module. You can change it under settings.
To do so: Go to Settings > Users & Roles > Roles > Select or create a new role > Items > Disable/Enable the options next to Price Lists.
Give the features a try, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below. For the complete list of updates, do checkout our release notes. And oh, Happy Holidays! :)
Cheers,
Lavanya
