I need to track an assembly process in which a record is created manually for each incoming piece of work. A weekly report needs to be generated from this. Also, for each piece of work a small printed form has to be generated, and I am thinking of using a retail heat-sensitive printer for this purpose, whereby the printout is torn off and stapled to the work. The work consists of editorial pages that are assembled by our shop, the work performed consisting of editing, headline writing, image processing and placement, and quality control. We are accountable to an outside client for this work. The purpose of this project is both to manage the internal workflow and to be accountable to the client.
