Error when trying to download unattended agent.
Good day, We are attempting to download the Unattended agent from our portal and we get the following message. {"error":{"code":1022,"message":"User Action not allowed"}} Also, to go along with another error I saw in another thread, we are also getting the issue where the proxy is being requested. Lastly, we get a message that the server is acknowledging the request, but refusing it if we use a copy of ZA_Access_Support.exe for unattended access that we have downloaded previously. Zoho assist errors
Hi guys, Having a couple issues: 1. {"error":{"code":1022,"message":"User Action not allowed"}} appears when attempting to download unattended installer when clicking on the download link. It also appears when clicking COPY for a weblink. This account is the OWNER. 2. I have tried to change owner to another member and it says its "successful". However, no changes are actually made and this account is apparently still the owner.
Assist is not opening
I am a new user to Assist and when opening I am just seeing a spinning circle on screen - why is this?
Slow File Transfer
I purchased Zoho Assist to further evaluate the product. When I send a file to a client PC the speed maxes out at 6 Mbps. On the same PC's and the with same file using Splashtop I get 60+ Mbps. I have 1 Gig fiber and the client has 200 Mbps download speed. I tried at different times and made sure the client network was idle. Is this normal?
Zoho Assist | Desk email subject issue.
Hi Zoho Team When inviting my customers to join a remote session via the Zoho Desk ticket, they receive an email that looks like below. Hello , I've initiated a Remote Support session regarding your ticket, <#229664000005715001: Potentially unwanted application file >. It would help me view your computer and resolve the ticket quickly. As you can see, it doesn't contain the correct ticket number, just a long string of numbers. Hopefully you can resolve this. Zoho Assist session time inquiry
Hello, Is there a way for have time automatically added to a Zoho Desk ticket from the time spent during a Zoho Assist session? I know a session summary including the time spent is added to the ticket notes, but it would be nice if this time was automatically added to the tickets time. Thanks, Josh

Hello, We have Time Tracking set to Automatic in Zoho Desk. We have the Zoho Assist integrated into our desk. Is there a way to set Zoho Desk to automatically add the time spent during the Zoho Assist session into the time history for a ticket? Branding
Hi I would have to say the level of branding allowed is definitely underwhelming. Compared to your opposition it is virtually non-existant I would have thought the widget at least should be customisable for at least the logo, everything is zoho assist with a token effort to add our logo in
zoho assist desktop does not remember me
when i fill up the login screen of assist desktop, i can mark a "remember me" checkbox. i think this would help me, that i don't have to give all credentials again, when i start assist desktop 20 min later.... the browser plugin works very well i think this is a problem

Zoho Assist Segmentation Fault
I'm looking to move away from Teamviewer and purchase a license for Zoho Assist, but I use Linux as my operating system and I'm now running into the issue below. Black or blank screen by default for certain unattended PCs
I saw this as an earlier topic but it was not finished. I see that I can on purpose blank out a remote screen, but we need the ability to have the screen blacked out on sensitive machines by default, and not to have to rely on the remote user remembering to black out the screen when they connect. Firefox Extension Signing
HI, Since Firefox version 48, Extension signing is now mandatory, that is cannot be overridden using the previous "xpinstall.signatures.required : false" config change. This has caused the Zoho Assist Firefox plugin to be disabled in my browser and cannot be used. Are there any plans to get the Zoho Assist plugin updated and signed to resolve this? Thanks, Paul

Can I restrict technicians to only certain computers?
We are considering switching from LogMeIn to Zoho. So far everything seems great. One issue we are having though is I cannot figure out how to restrict technicians so they can only connect to certain computers. We will eventually have around 500 machines in Zoho, and we want some techs to have access to all of them. We would also seperately like to have other techs be able to log in but only see one or two computers, is this possible? I can add techs to different departments but I cannot figure

I am on this side of the Assist so I go onto people's computers. I am using unattended access. Apparently when I show up they know I am looking at their screen and wondering if there is a way to show up anonymously?
Unattended Support
I know I have seen other articles on this forum about Unattended Support licenses, and I just wanted to hit on that and a couple of other points. I would love to use Zoho Assist as my primary way of doing remote support for my customers, but i believe the product is still in an infant stages. Currently I am using Connectwise Control, which for 54$ monthly (which is what I pay) I get unlimited unattended access licenses, which is a big plus for me. Granted, i am only using 49 unattended support installs,

X out of sessions
Can I enable using the top right X to close sessions? I have found that if I reboot a computer I have to close the entire program to close that one session.
No file transfer
I am on the paid standard plan but when I try to initiate a file transfer at an unattended site I get an dialog box saying I am in free plan and to buy upgrade.
MAJOR MAC BUG!!! UNINSTALL RIGHT AWAY!
two of our computers just went on a crazy reboot loop. we couldnt figure it out and kept tryihng to boot in to safe mode to figure out what was causing it. finally uninstalling the unattended zoho assist app resolved the issue and our mac was able to boot up properly. now im scared but have to check all our clients computers and see if they are going through the same issues. this is a major blunder !!!
Chat is broken
He guys, chat is malfunctioning. When I start a text chat then move the window back so I can have full screen, I am no longer able to chat. The conversation history is not displayed and I have to type in the clients chat. At first I thought this was an issue with my browser however it's happened on two separate computers that I use. Just giving you a heads up. Thanks.
Assist Remote Support Error
I have one client that I use ZOHO Assist to connect with. It worked fine for me on several previous occasions but for some reason now whenthey try to download and run the ZOHO Assist connection app they get the following error: Failed to join session due to the following reason: 6Any suggestions?

Not used Zoho Assist for a while, but yesterday I was unable to start a session After clicking on the "Start Session" blue button, after several seconds there is a popup "Sorry, Unable to contact server"
Mac screen resolution
Hi, Has anyone else noticed that switching to Fit to Screen doesn't work when remotely accessing a Mac? The image of the host screen remains small - and text is not readable. Host is a 27" iMac. Remote workstations have been Mac or PC. In the past, the screen information could be increased/magnified by clicking Fit to Screen - but it has stopped working when the host is Mac. Any suggestions on making this work again? I've uninstalled and downloaded & re-installed the unattended access software.
Zoho Assist - Fedora - Locking Machine/Cannot Reconnect
Hi Guys We are currently in-trial with Zoho Assist, hoping to utilise the Unattended Access feature to work remotely on Fedora PCs. However, we have ran into the following problem; If the Fedora machine is locked (session locked, like WIN+L in Windows) from within the session, the machine is locked and then disconnected, and it is not possible to reconnect. Zoho Assist Desktop.exe not terminating / leaving orphaned instances
I am having an issue with the Zoho Assist Desktop.exe (64bit). When the app launches it creates 4 Instances of Zoho Assist - Desktop.exe in Task Manager. When I hit Close by "X" Out in the upper right corner, 2 of the instances are terminated but 2 instances remain. Subsequent launches of the product create 4 more instances and orphan 2 of the instances on close. On a Busy workday I could have 4-10 orphaned instances of Zoho Assist - Desktop.exe in Task Manager, each chewing up memory and resources.
Varying ESCAPE key functionality in Assist
In Full Screen mode the ESCAPE key takes you out of Full Screen mode. I know this is typical behavior but its really annoying because the ESCAPE key is used often. When not in Full Screen mode the ESCAPE key goes to the application. Thank GOD for that. Zoho should have a screen where you define the control key handling.
Unattended Access stopped working on all our Macs
We have a small marketing firm, and we use the Unattended access to remotely install updates and roll out new items when our employees are gone in the evenings. Everything has been working fine, until the most recent update to the Zoho Assist. It shows all computers are offline. We have removed them and had them reinstall the new download package, they will then popup in my Unattended Access list, but it still shows them as off line. End User UI needs an upgrade
I think it's about time you guys maybe upgraded the end user UI to look a little more professional. Times New Roman font looks cheap. When we have lovely Live Chat showing custom agent icons etc and lovely fonts, I'd like to see this on the customers computer when carrying out remote support. Just a suggestion.
Logging off user in server 2012 closes Assist session
I some times need to log users off a RDP server, When i log them off, 9 out of 10 times it logs me off the Assist session. Real pain if I need to do a few users or need to do something right after and I have to log back in tot he unattended session.
Be able to add On Demand Remote sessions to unattended access
While I am pushing this out company wide, being able to add a computer I connected in to via On Demand Remote would be helpful for PC's out in the field.

Please export all necessary information and download essential session recordings from Reports to avoid losing data. You can export data from Reports as a CSV or PDF file by clicking Export as in the top right corner. Silent Pre-Install for Run as a Service Mode
Hello, We are in need of a silent pre-install that we can run during our PC imaging process in order to pre-install the service for Run as a Service mode so that it is not necessary to upgrade to run as a service each time we connect to a user's PC for the first time. This would save us several minutes per support session, which is quite a big deal in terms of saving both ourselves and the employees we are supporting time. Every bit of time we take away from them by taking longer to resolve issues
Assist Desk Integration
Not sure if this should be a Zoho Desk topic or Assist but..... Whilst you can edit the email templates that go out to customers from Desk, when you initiate a remote session from within Desk, there is no way to customize that email. I would like to be able to customize that email. 90% of my remote invites are sent via Desk. Thanks.
