I would love it if there was a section at the bottom of the estimate that automatically calculated the progressive payments based on customizable percentages and descriptions of the job. Example. Track Discounts / Subtotal with Discount
Since many of my clients are non-profit organizations, I offer them a rate discount for certain design services. Is there a way to track discounts so I can see how much I've discounted throughout the year? Also, I'd prefer to show the discount AFTER the subtotal so the actual billable total is shown, as well as the discounted amount. It's important to do that to show value of my services. Newbie Question - What is best way to create contacts?
I am unsure of the best practices for creating contacts for an organization as I couldn't see a way to create information about an organization, only contact information for people within an organization. Say I do work for 'ACME Products' and want to send an invoice to their accounts department person John Smith. Do I just create a contact 'John Smith' who belongs to ACME Products? When I go to create an invoice it asks me to choose from a list of contact names, So how would I distinguish John Smith

Using multiple filters when getting contacts from /contacts API
HI there, I'm working with the invoice contacts API and got it working with "company_name" or "company_name_contains" fields. Now I'd like to apply an additional field which is "filter_by" where I'd pass "Status.Active" as value. Unfortunately when I apply "company_name" AND "filter_by" in the same request I get ALL the contacts from my organization and not only the active once matching the value I set in company_name. Is that expected and filters must be used one at a time? Or should I create my

I have a trial account for the invoice app and i try to connect my service with OAuth. I follow steps described in the api documentation but in step 3, i have a {"error": "invalid_client"} as response... Is it limited by the trial version ? or it's me and i miss something obvious ?

Love Zoho Invoice. But here's a question: when I invoice clients monthly, I push an invoice with invoice detail from excel. The excel is saved to Zoho Invoice as an .xlsx file and it sends to the client correctly. The issue is that later, when I go to access to attachment easily, the attachment saved WITH the invoice has been converted to a .txt file. Is there a Zoho Invoice developer that can look into this and correct it? Otherwise I have to dig through emails to find the invoice and its attachment...and
Be careful when asking for help from Zoho
I have put off sharing this to give Zoho time to solve the problem. Before christmas my team reminded me that we struggled with the integration between crm and invoices as we use both accounts (sometimes) and contacts. We work b2b and b2c. Client's biz name changed: Should I update or create new contact info?
I have a client that had to dissolve their first business and reform it under a new name mid-year, but they are still doing the same work (publishing the same magazine). Should I deactivate the original contact info and create a new contact for the new company name, or should I simply update the existing contact? It is not very useful for the display to constantly reset to ALL timesheet entries when you click on the TIMESHEET tab within Zoho Invoice, after you've entered a specific Project. We are paid users of Zoho Invoice. One of the employees in our organization lost his Two-factor authentication tokens. so i am even more confused with the integration of zoho crm and invoice. After trying it for a month I decided we should also integrate the accounts as well as the contacts. Most contacts are stand alone but some belong to accounts. Example letting agents etc. Pressed the button only to find that it then expects every contact to have an account. Confused, and starting to wish we had never seen zoho invoice. Sorry we do like the way we can grab payment online and do recurring invoices.

So i finally got down and dirty linking our zoho crm to invoices. What an improvement in look. AND you can send invoice that can be paid online. GREAT. BUT as usual a bit half cooked. I could find no way of bringing over the price books from zoho crm so i then needed to role the whole experiment back. What a waste of time again. No date column on invoices
Why do all of the invoice templates have numbers in the first column, and none has a date column? The item numbers are useless to me, but at least I can delete them. The lack of the ability to specify a date of service for a particular project or task is mind-boggling. Hello, We are changing ZOHO Invoice edition to UK. We created new organisation and now exporting all the details. Contacts and Items are done. We started with ESTIMATES but it doesn't allow us to import more than 1MB which is pain. The main issue we have is that Estimate status is not correct. Where it's status Invoiced, it changed to Draft. Is there any way we can exceed 1MB and makes Export/Import easier? Thank you
