Once again, non-admins can no longer revise the site map
Not sure when this change happened, but it's a problem now. This appears to be a regression on this issue: https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/bug-non-admins-can-no-longer-revise-the-site-map ... which was solved. That issue was also a regression.

URGENT BUG: Zoho Wiki is failing to deliver custom css file!
Starting at about 5:15am US Pacific time, Zoho Wiki server started failing to deliver the custom css file that should accompany each page. (And similar result on a second wiki). Firefox Network Developer Tools chart shows that the page requests https://texmate.wiki.zoho.com/_customcssurl/1.0/zoho-texmate-01.css
Page name: PLEASE PLEASE fix the hyphen spacing bug!
Hi all, Please please fix the bug in which your page name (page title) entry code always takes a hyphen (dash) and surrounds it by unwanted spaces. This means that any company-critical Ids like "XYZ-1234" or dates "2024-01-02" appear broken in the page
Community Add Topic Category selector drop-down is unusable
This problem applies to ALL "Communities", not just Wiki, but there is no "Category" for Community. You will need to move it to a more appropriate category to get this bug fixed. In the Add Topic (edit) window, the Category drop-down list has over 300
URGENT: Is Wiki demise imminent? Timeline?
To my horror, today I see at https://www.zoho.com/wiki/ "Zoho Wiki is now Zoho Learn". I don't know if this is a new message, but regardless, this type of message suggests that at some point Zoho Wiki will no longer be Zoho Wiki. 1. I would appreciate
Editor Raw HTML mode now incorrectly uses proportional font
Some recent change to the Zoho Wiki service has caused the editor's raw HTML mode to start using a proportional font. This is painful for editing raw HTML source code. Prior to that change, for many years, the editor's raw HTML mode used a monospace font,
Multiple Bugs involving Page Name
The Zoho Wiki code that handles the page name has several bugs that transform the name entered by the user into something unwanted, undermining several use cases. These bugs are not new, but my aggravation about them has recently increased due to needing
How to access account subscription billing/invoice/payment info?
While logged in to a wiki with an account having permission to do so, or maybe the account owning that wiki, how do you navigate to invoice and payment info for that wiki? On a wiki's Settings page, there is a Subscription panel, but it just shows the

Docs for Create Public wiki don't match site?
I was trying to find a way to create a publicly accessible wiki, and ran into some dead ends. https://zohowikihelp.wiki.zoho.com/Create-New-Wiki.html explains how to create a wiki and set it to public. However, when I tried it, the page I saw at step 2 (the first screen cap on the indicated page), didn't have a Permissions section. The site that got created was Private. Next, I tried to find the settings to change a private site to public, following instructions here: https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/making-my-zoho-wiki-public-for-viewing
Bug: Non-admins can no longer revise the site map
For years the site map could be revised by a user that was not a site admin, but did have site (or workspace?) create, edit and delete permissions. This appears to have changed recently so that the site map can only be revised by an admin. I believe this
Paste image to Wiki editor does not work
I edit a wiki page and paste an image from the clipboard to the editor. The Image appears. As soon as I save the page, the image disappears. In the html source code I see an empty img tag. Tested with google chrome and firefox on Ubuntu 20.04.
Bug: Export as PDF creates secure PDF
The PDF export function always creates a Secure PDF, regardless of whether you have asked for that option. This has several negative effects. The most pressing problem for us is that users of the PDF are prevented from copying text from the PDF. When the PDF provides instructions for command lines to type in, being unable to copy those command lines is rather fatal. The Export as PDF dialog has an option "Click here to set password for the PDF file". Not clicking on that checkbox should result in
Bug: Editor shortcut keys no longer work in Firefox 65
Issue GWZ1044 Firefox just updated to version 65, and now several keyboard shortcuts in Zoho Wiki WYWIWYG editor no longer work. In short, these keys are being grabbed by Firefox, instead of being sent to the editor. Ctrl-B and Ctrl-I invoke Firefox Bookmarks panel, instead of applying bold or italic to the selected text. Ctrl-U invokes a new View Source tab, instead of applying underline. Ctrl-L, R and J all invoke Firefox functions instead of editor functions. Tab and Shift-Tab move the focus for
Bug: WYSIWYG editor excessive bottom margin
I'm pretty sure this is a new issue in the last couple of days. The WYSIWYG editor is setting the bottom of the edit area a long way from the bottom of the window, leaving a large wasted space that should instead be dedicated to the edit area. Here is a screen cap. This issue shows up across multiple zoho wiki sites, and happens on both Firefox and Chrome, on Windows. (7-64).
Bug WSYIWYG col insert incorrect valign
When the WYSIWYG editor creates a new table with the Insert Table button, it adds attribute valign="top" to each cell. However, the right-click > insert column does not do so. This means newly added columns have valign default, which is middle (and almost never what I want!). I'm pretty sure this broke only recently, since I use tables on a daily basis, and would have noticed this. Anyhow, I think Insert Col should be consistent with Insert Table. Well, really this sort of thing should be controlled
Bug: WYSIWYG table row and col add and delete control is missing
Some time in the last few weeks, the tiny control that appears when editing tables, to allow adding/deleting rows and columns, has stopped appearing. That control was always a bit fiddly, but quite useful, particularly for adding or deleting many rows at a time. The same action using the right click menu does work, but is quite slow. I am reporting this in case the disappearance of this control was unintentional.
Bug: WYSIWYG editor: Selection handles and resize control for images no longer available
Hi folks, Some time in the last maybe month or two, it seems that the ability to resize an image after inserting it into a page has disappeared. It used to be that after inserting an image into the WYSIWYG editor, you could later select it, resize handles would appear, and you could use those to resize it. Now, when you select such an image, no handles appear, and consequently there's no GUI way to resize it. This is also inconvenient for moving the image. You can still move the image, but lack of
Incoming links?
Hi I seem to have lost incoming/ inbound links from the sidebar on Wiki. I have gone into settings, and it is no longer listed as an element option. Has this been removed, or is it likely a bug in our wiki? Many thanks! Alice
Managing, rearranging & deleting sub sections in the knowledge base deletes my articles
I was rearranging my knowledge base yesterday and i didnt new that Categories stands for departments. So i tried ordering all better to make more sense. When i delete some sub-sections i lost a couple articles which were in a sub-section of that. Is this a know issue? I lost quite some time due to this because the text editor is horrible to work with
Wiki editor now riddles html with unwanted div clutter
This is a behavior that seems to have changed in the past week. In Zoho Wiki, in the past, the WYSIWYG editor produced quite vanilla HTML. Now it's wrapping many tags in superfluous divs. This is with Firefox, which, like most browsers, relentlessly updates, so could be an interaction with a Firefox update. At any rate, this is on Windows 7, latest update, with Firefox 60.0.1 64-bit. Repro: Create a new page, and the content starts off as: <br> Now (in WYSIWG mode) type something in at the initial
Bug: Custom CSS file is empty if not logged in
Hi folks, It seems that on my wiki, the custom CSS file only gets served properly when a user is logged in. If the user is not logged in, the server serves the file, but it is empty. I attach a couple of screenshots of Firefox network diagnostics for the logged-in and NOT logged in cases. The file in question is zoho-gw-01.css, and you can see the problem with file size. Same result in Chrome. Graham
Zoho wiki major BUG - edit and view mode - impossible to use
Hi Zoho Wiki team, I wrote to your support, but no answer so far. Here is the Big BUG: creation of a blank wiki page from another wiki page by selecting a text, then ->insert ->web link->new wiki page click save and close. click on the link of new wiki page arrive in edit mode of new wiki page type some text, then save, then close click to go back to original parent page. click on the link to the new created wiki page new wiki page does open in edit mode instead of view mode, and page is blank, text
Wiki down?
Hi, it's about a week that I cannot reach my wiki anymore. When I type my wiki's URL, it only shows a blank page. Are you going to restore the wiki service or did you shut it down forever? Sorry for my bad english!
Site map slow animation -- way to disable
Hi folks, While the navigation tree and breadcrumbs are undergoing some consideration in other threads, I would like to re-raise the issue of disabling painfully-slow-motion animation of the site map's treeview. Although the site map is somewhat useful as a site structure map, the fact that it's on a separate page means that it's no replacement for the nav tree that appears on the content pages. Site map's navigation utility is further limited by the fact that on first visiting it, it's completely
Navigation treeview issues
The nav treeview sometimes behaves nicely, at other times it's horrible. I'm not sure if the following are bugs, or just a problem in the design. In the following, I will use "L1", "L2" and so on to refer to the different _visible_ levels of the treeview. So L1 is the root of the treeview, regardless of whether it's displaying the root of the pages. After navigating to the root page of a workspace, the treeview behaves properly. The root stays fixed (L1 shows the root of the docs), and any number
Editor Style control fails to track actual style in editor text
I'd like to draw attention back to a bug I reported back in October 2015 https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/wysiwyg-editor-style-combo-box-is-broken. Much of that was fixed (thanks!), but one important element was not. In the WYSIWYG editor, the Style combo box does not properly track the text at the cursor position. When the cursor is placed in "bare" html text that is not encompassed by <p> tags or some other tags like <h2> etc, it just continues to display the style of the text at
Navigation breadcrumbs is broken at depth > 4
It appears that the navigation breadcrumbs feature is broken for depths > 4. Example that works properly: Home/workspace1/aaa/bbb/ccc Example that breaks: Actual page: Home/workspace1/aaa/bbb/ccc/ddd on page ddd this appears as: Home/workspace1/bbb/ccc/ddd Note that 'aaa' is missing, and there's no indication (such as an ellipsis) that anything is missing. If this design was intentional, perhaps the idea was to limit the width of the breadcrumbs. However it is highly confusing for users. Is there
Is there a possibility to change ZOHO Wiki encoding from UTF-8 to UTF-16?
We have problem with current wiki encoding UTF-8 while saving pages containing SQL queries that are documented at our wiki. Original query before it’s documented on wiki page: AND (T2."U_NAME" = N'[%23]' OR '[%23]' = '') AND (T1."CreateDate" >= '[%24]' OR '[%24]' = '') AND (T1."CreateDate" <= '[%25]' OR '[%25]' = '') AND ((T0."ShortName" = '[%26]') OR ('[%26]' = '')) After a page with query is saved: AND (T2."U_NAME" = N'[#]' OR '[#]' = '') AND (T1."CreateDate" >= '[$]' OR '[$]' = '') AND (T1."CreateDate"
Table settings UI to clear attributes not working
This concerns the otherwise impressive and useful UI to set attributes for tables, row, cells. It seems that the features that allow clearing (unsetting) the attributes don't work. Examples: For table, row and cell, the control "swatch" that sets background colors has an [x] button that clears the swatch, but doesn't clear the attribute of the table/row/cell. For table and cell, the UI control that sets width has no way to clear the width. You can delete the contents of the Width edit box, but
Wiki import not working
In connection with my efforts to figure out how to move wikis and workspaces, I tried the wiki and workspace export and import functions. The export works no problem, and the resulting zip contains attachments and a main index.xml containing all the page content for the site I then created a new wiki, and attempted to import these zip files. In each case the browser takes a few seconds to upload the zip, but then does nothing -- no confirmation that anything was uploaded, no error message, nothing.
Workspace move and rename issues
I have encountered a number of problems with restructuring wikis and workspaces. 1. Moving a workspace to a new wiki. I'm still waiting for an answer to: https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/how-to-move-workspace-to-new-wiki, which would greatly help illuminate the options. 1a. Does Export and Import help here? If a wiki or workspace is moved to another wiki, does the import process fix up the links between pages to account for their new location? 2. Moving a workspace within a wiki. Using
WYSIWYG editor failing to load CSS and images
Hi all, I previously reported this here: https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/problem-with-custom-css-in-editor , but that problem seemed to subside for a while. Now it has returned with a high level of consistency. The basic symptom is that when the WYSIWYG editor opens it fails to load custom CSS, page content images, and even images that are a standard part of zoho wiki, for example the bullet triangles for the page TOC. It also happens intermittently without any custom CSS, in that
Customization dialog for top panel bug: prevents customizing
Workspace or Wiki > Settings > Customization > Top panel > Edit button Should invoke dialog for editing top panel. That panel does get invoked (as judged by DOM inspector), but it's positioned below bottom of browser window. Cannot be brought on screen by editing DOM. Might be due to this error that appears in console: 18:17:54.853 TypeError: Argument 1 of Node.appendChild is not an object. showDialogBox() wikisetting.js:1 showURLInDialogBox/<() wikisetting.js:1 $1/xmlhttp.onreadystatechange() wikisetting.js:8
Urgent: Loss of page content
I have now seen this happen on three different pages. The page will look fine in read mode, but then invoke edit, and immediately the page is truncated at some point, with the rest of the page below that missing -- possibly a large amount. Quitting the editor at that stage, (without saving) results in display of the truncated page, the rest is missing. It appears that data in your database is messed up at that point, because there's no recent version in history corresponding to the page in its final
Disable very annoying push notification permission dialogs?!
Recently on zoho wiki pages, on every single page load an annoying Push Notification permission dialog pops up. In different browsers it does different things. In Firefox it pops up at top left and stays there until dismissed, requiring the puzzled user to make some decision that they neither understand nor care about. In Chrome (and on Mac not sure what browser), it flashes up briefly, and before you can read and click it, it disappears. My request -- how do I, or you, stop users from being bombarded,
Problem with custom CSS in editor
Hi folks. I get the impression some work was done on the WYSIWYG editor sometime in the last couple of months -- if it addressed a few points I raised earlier -- great. However, one new problem has surfaced. Custom CSS for use in the WYSIWYG editor no longer works in Firefox, though it does work in Chrome. This is troublesome as we had determined that Firefox was our most reliable choice for using the editor in the first place (but, as mentioned above, it would be nice if that was overcome). Our
Problem with LaTeX copy/paste
Hi folks, First, it's pretty cool that one can insert LaTeX equations and so on into wiki pages, using the Insert > Equation Editor function. However, copying and pasting doesn't work properly in the WYSIWYG editor. The problem appears to be that the copy function copies the image, but does not copy the latexexpression attribute (nor the imagesize attribute, for that matter). This problem isn't noticed until later going to edit the pasted equation. The right-click menu offers Edit Equation, but the
