Usage Limits
A client asked me to help with his Zoho application. He has several forms that he wants to combine some of the information into a new form. I have written the code but I am now bumping up against the 500 record limit. I may only be hitting the limit because I've run several tests today. However he may hit the limit in a few months. I don't know what subscription level he has. What is the fee to increase the usage limits? Herb Wexler
How can I make a record a url link in a view?
Hello Everyone, I have been searching the forum and knowledgebase for a couple of hours and cannot seem to find anything regarding this. Can records in a list view be a link? I have 2 different forms linked by a "Subject_ID." when I view the view from the second form I have "Subject_ID" as a column and it lists the "Subject_IDs" as records but I want to be able to click on the "Subject_ID" and go that "Subject_ID" in the first form. How can I make a record a url link in a view? Bryan
Use of Dynamically Loaded ListBox Fields !!!
In the past couple of months, my clients have encountered situations related to ... ListBoxes whose options are dynamically loaded in Add/Edit Forms from records in other Tables (Forms) ... that have made the use of such ListBoxes vey unappealing. I have discussed such situations with the ZOHO Creator Team in private ... but there appears to be no urgency in addressing these deficiencies (architecture flaws) ... so I am posting this for the benefit of others who may be using such fields/techniques
Unable to save changes in a couple of my scripts. Error message 12002
I get error message 12002 when trying to save changes into some of my scripts. Besides, while trying to submit a form that uses those scripts, submission fails or gets very slow (about 30 seconds). Thanks, Jaime
update values for new formula field
I added a formula field to a form with existing data. How do I update this field for all existing records. I'm considering adding a temp field and doing a bulk edit to change the temp field and then remove the temp field. This would force a recalc of the formula field. Is there a simpler method? Radio Button Value not Displayed
When I submit a new record, the value for the radio button does not show up in the View; but it does after I go in and edit, even if I change nothing.
Problem updating
Hi Zoho Team, I have had a good experience so far with Creator. I got some templates from the Market place and configured it for my company's CRM. Right now i have this problem with a form. I can't seem to update it if I am not log in as the Developer. I have set share to all the forms to the users already. When i click the built in edit button, i could edit but when i go thru my custom button, it doens't seem to let me edit my form. the link is creator.zoho.com/enterpriseportal/inovarsales. I hope

Reports and Charts enhancements?
Now that the beta of reports and charts is working better I'd like to post a number of suggestions that would make it much more useful and likely to attract additional subscription income. Issues that hopefully will go away when it's out of beta: a. Reports and Charts are not showing up in the iPhone app. b. Custom Action-Select Function
I created a function but it does not display in the Select Function dropdown on the Custom Action section of the view. The correct namespace is displayed but the dropdown is blank. I am on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, using Internet Explorer 8. I have two forms: one for tracking calls, and one for tracking issue types. The issue type form has one no-dupes field in it. Steps: Go to the call form. Drag the Lookup field to the form: Change the label to Issue Type. Import the "Issue" field from the issue type form. Display it as a multi select field. Click Done. Hello, I'm developing an app to control a small store. I have the table to registrate de products and other table to register the quantity of "buy" and "sell" movements of the products. How do I do to sum all the "buy" and all the "sell" columns according to a product ID. Then calculate how many items remain in stock calculating total_buy - total_sell of each product in the list. One Lookup from multiple fields
I have one form with fields for the names of the members of a family: Mothers_Name; Fathers_Name; Sibling1; Sibling2; Sibling3. There is also a field for Family_Id. On another form I would like a dropdown to select a family member after the user enters the Family_ID. Is there a way to create a list of values from the multiple fields on another form? Herb Wexler

I need to have some kind of journal entries, where the classes can be either 30,45 or 60 minutes length. I have a reference table that holds these values (lesson_length). I need an interface on to create a new entry for a lesson. Advanced techniques for form layouts?
While Zoho is most certainly an excellent product, I am not entirely satisfied with the look of the forms that Zoho helps me generate. I would like to group sets of fields and maybe put a header over them or a border surrounding them, whereas right now all of my fields run together. Hello, I am creating a meeting attendance application with a members 'table' and a meetings 'table'. I have my meetings forum using a lookup field for the members 'name' field. It's working great and it makes it very easy to record attendance. However, I am trying to view an individual member's attendance. I know that in the meetings view I can filter by particular members in the 'Attended' lookup field, but I want to be able to print off a sheet that lists all the members and their recent attendance.

Custom Action button - move from right to left hand side of view
I want to move the custom action button I created so it displays on the left-hand side of each record in my view, instead of on the right-hand side as it does by default. How do I go about this? I tried moving the "custom actions" code related to the button in the script to a position higher up, but I keep getting error messages. Can the button be moved, or is it stuck on the right-hand side?
Another new Defect in ZOHO Creator
@ZOHO Creator Support: As of this morning ... during Edit Mode ... whenever I try and click on the ... Validate on Form Submit Action on Success ... links for the Submit Button of Forms ... ZOHO Creator goes into a never-ending display of "Loading ..." However, if I click on the Tab called Script ... and then click on any of the links under Form Actions (in the left panel), I can get the code to display without any problem. Schedule Emails to Records (at specific times!) NOT FULLY ANSWERED
I am trying to schedule emails to be sent at specific times to my records that were entered into forms. There are two problems with this when operating from the "Schedules" tab: Creating a New Form Schedule doesn't allow you to schedule the exact times of emails, it is all relative to when the data was added or modified, which doesn't work for me because I need to send the email at the same time for all records. calculated field in report

Send Mail editor dialog box does not show rich text options.
I am trying to create a series of automatic emails that can be sent out from my Zoho Creator database, but the Rich Text tab is not showing in the Send Mail editor window, nor can I edit the Message in Script Builder mode. All I can do is manually type out the emails in Free Flow Scripting mode and I do not know all the formatting options such as bold. Does anyone know if this feature has been disabled? Is there a way to turn it on?
Count Check Boxes
Is there a way in a view or report to count the total number of checkboxes selected? For each record I have 50 checkboxes, and I'd like to be able to count the total number of check boxes selected. It'd be nice to also count the total number of records that have selected each checkbox.
