Hiding Views, Forms or Tabs
Hi I was wondering if there is a way to hide views or forms so that when the application is accessed it can not be seen. From what i can see the only method of me doing this is to place the form or view on another tab. However, these things are still visible on the tab. Can I hide the tab? I would like to share the application with others but want to limit the collective data from being able to be viewed in some cases. But would also like to allow certain collected data to be shared. ayishagisel
More functionality of built in scripting functions
The built-in string functions, like subString, indexOf, etc make scripting very easy - however, some of them are fairly limited in their functionality: The indexOf function does not recognize a space as a valid argument, nor can you specify a "starting point" to start the search from. How to better control form appearance?
Is there a list of formatting properties for the actual layout of Creator forms? For instance, in the free-flow scripting there is code for "column" -- but playing with this I can't seem to get the page to render without at least two columns. I get the sense that there are a set of commands/properties for Deluge scripting which aren't provided in the Scripting Help section -- where can I find full documentation? Thanks, Andy
Editing application -- Form View -- Dropdown choices not sho
I am trying to edit the options for a dropdown list. When I created the dropdown, I was able to edit the options in the list. Now, when I click to edit the dropdown list, the options do not display. My account name is rroenigk. My application name is Thicket Magazine Circulation. The field name is Status. Please help! I cannot use the application without editing this field. Record/View created based on Date and Numeric Value
Hi I would like to create an Outstanding Payment Alert Page based on two fields of one form of my Database. I want displayed on a separate page all records that meet the following criteria: All records which have dates (In the Payment Expected date) in the past (before todays date) and have a 0.00 in the Total Payment Received. Mobile vs. PC Views/Forms
It would be awesome if you guys could make it possible to somehow designate which forms/views would show on the mobile version of the application. It becomes tedious and time consuming to scroll through all the views to find the one you use while mobile. Thanks for your consideration. smspdd

Avoid spam bots in public views
I need to have a public view of the database which contains email addresses. How can I avoid the spam bots from getting these addresses? Is it possible to change the format, for ex. name[at]domain.com? Is there any other trick available? Thanks.
How slow could a database be?

Is there a way to track changes to data in Zoho?
Was wondering if there was a way to track changes to field data in Zoho and keep a record. For example, if I change the name of an Employee from Sue Smith to Sue Johnson is there a way to record that so it can be tracked? Calculating Sums
How do i calculate the sum of several fields and have that sum generate in another field? Also, how do I set fields to only "show" and accept data if other fields are selected. For instance: in my database I have created a communication form for contacting either clients, third party clients, or company contact. Application views not working
Hi there, I had some data that I wanted to delete from the application view. Every time I ticked the box of the top record, it would also select the headers for the data so I deleted it all. Now, when people submit data, I get a blank looking view but there are 'Edit' buttons on the number of lines as submissions. When you click edit you can see the entries but not otherwise. Hello, I am expanding on the Zoho Bug Tracker. When i view the list of bugs or client requests, i want to view today's date. Clear form
How do I wipe data entered into a form when a an event happens such as a pick list selection is changed or invalid numbers entered? Is there a clear function? I tried setting the values to null but I on number fields it only allows for a 0 and I would like it to be completely empty.
Zoho populated common datasets
I would like to see common fields like state and zip as input options that are validated against datasets maintained by Zoho. Or verification against common patterns like phone number or ssn. This could obviously improve the quality of data in Creator applications. If it is available, I haven't seen it yet. I am sure you could write some basic functions to do some verifications in Deluge, but if we are going for simplicity out of the box... well it's just a suggestion. Thanks, Shane

Hi ZOHO Team: I have a Boat Marina on Lake Coeur d'Alene Lake in North Idaho, it has 142 boat slips of varying sizes, I know each slips profile from Length to Width. Super Powerful WYSIWYG field placement
While it is SUPER great that you take all of the headaches out of arranging fields, it would be great if WE the ZOHO CREATOR users could move and resize the fields around to suite our own needs. Hide Databases
I found that since there is no way to store permanent flat one dimentional dynamic viariables if have resorted to use a database that has fields which are my variables and I need only keep one record to store their value. If you could make any database invisible then it would be great. newbie - updating an "import data" field
I'm trying to update an "import data" field based on another import data fields selection. Let explain in more detail. I have created a form, and the form uses a drop down; "select company" - the select company data is being imported from a different app and form. The next question is "select contact". When I go to the forum, it seems that it refreshes constantly. To the point where I open a thread and as soon as it appears on the screen the forum refreshes and takes me back to the main page. Any thoughts on how to stop this? administrator

Simple Booking Form

Creator View Grouping/Sorting
It appears as though sorting trumps grouping. Say for example I have Field A, B & C. If I group on Fields A & B but sort on Field C, then my results appear strictly as sorted on Field C, with no regard to grouping. I would expect to see them sorted *within* the groups. Since the grouping fields are not available for sorting once they are specified as grouping fields, I see no way to accomplish sorting within groups. Hopefully I am mistaken. Please let me know. Not saving Field name in a script
I entered a field name into a script, when I save the script the field name gets replaced with another field in the form. No matter how many times the field name gets corrected it keeps reverting back to the wrong field name. views vs. forms
The form views seems to be where I input data and the Views view seems to be where I view data... Can I 'Lookup' a company in form view to display their details in form view? Also; When I export data from the View view to pdf it's tiny because I have a lot of fileds so it shrinks to fit in the space. Brad.
Exporting to PDF includes extra space
Exporting a view to a PDF file looks nice, except it makes the columns much wider than they need to be ... which adds a lot of wasted space and makes the text much smaller in order to fit everything on the page. cdarlow
