Importing Error
Okay when importing a file to Zoho Creator from either csv, txt or xls it fails with this being displayed in the last column of the preview 0 #NAME? It says click to finish, but there is no finish button anywhere. Richard
Public Creator views
I love Zoho, but when I make an app public, I get this warning: "Anyone can access the data and the data will also be indexed by search engines like Google, Yahoo and others." Why not just offer an option to add a <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"> directive in these pages? This is such an easy thing to do in HTML, it seems like a no brainer. Zoho creator has certainly opened my eyes to the opportunities of online applications, and I feel it is the way to go, please continue the good work. The creating of the forms and views seems very straightforward along with the inputting of data. Unique record ID
I am new to Zoho Creator and have two questions. First, I have a simple application and would like to add a unique record ID to each record in a form as it is created. I know I can use an "On Success" script to access Zoho's own ID, but that ID is too long. I know I could trim it down to five digits, but even that is too long, so I'd like to be able to create ny own unique record ID starting from 1, or whatever number I pick. Is there an easy way to do this? My second question follows the first.
Great app but...
Creator is lacking some pretty basic formatting functionality (choosing fonts and colors for example - except for the "notes" field), and it is also very restrictive on how to position fields and how to size them correctly. I also can't use an image as part of my form (use some icons or just for better looking apps). Are these restrictions that do not apply on some kind of paid subscription that you have? Duplicate function
The duplicate function worked on another application, but not on the only remaining I have. I entered a typo in the permanent url and there is no way for me to fix it besides duplicating it and deleting the old one. Export Data Issue fixed
Dear All, We would like to inform you that the issue related to Exporting a Data has been fixed. There was a issue where users were not able to export the Data either as (XLS, PDF, CSV, TSV) specifically in IE and Opera. We believe we have fixed this issue and the same has been update in http://creator.zoho.com . Alphabetical/# of Items
I have two questions regarding Zoho Creator. 1) I have created a spreadsheet of names. The name column is set-up so each name is a link to the individual's website. Now when I try to order the names alphabetically (listed as "last name, first name") it actually orders the url alphabetically. How do I change this so their ordered alphabetically by last name? 2) I have 180 items in this spreadsheet. Is it possible to list more than 100 per page?

Is it possible to list more than 100 items per page? I have 177 items, and I'd like to list them all on one page rather than two. Some people are having trouble seeing the second page when they click on the arrows at the top of spreadsheet view.
form doesn't reset and hourglass keeps going
After submitting a form, the hourglass keeps going and the form data doesn't reset, even though the submission was successful. I am using a URL thank you page as the confirmation of success and that works fine. But after closing that popup window (ugh - popups), the original page with the form looks like it didn't submit successfully even though it did. Any way to fix this?
Unable to access my applications via Mobile (Just Started)
I have a Blackberry Curve, and I have been using Zoho Mobile to access my Zoho Creator Apps for a long time... No problems until this morning.. Problem, I can log in to Mobile sign on - See my Apps, but when i try to enter any of my apps I get an error in the browser saying an Unexpected error has occurred and then it takes me back to the application screen.. I need to be able to insert an input filed into my email notification subject line so that the people receiving it can differentiate between orders. example.... Subject: Thank you for ordering "input.organization name". Is this possible? problems prcocessing scripts
I am using a link to my form through my company's intranet. I am having a very hard time with any field that has a script process in it. The server times out an gives me an internet explorer error of 12152. I don't know if this is our server or yours. I believe it is our server but my IT doesn't know what the problem it. the program runs fine for me at home. if the field does not have anytype of scripting behind it then it runs fine but if I have any variables or functions processed as a condition
Import via email - Date field
I am trying to add records via email - everything works fine except for date field - can you provide the correct format for emailing in a date field? For instance, the email body contains ... Record Date : 04-Dec-2007 11:52:24 but the imported record shows "04-Dec-2007 11" - apparently it doesn't like the colon (":"). I've tried adding quotes around the data, but no luck - it still stops after the colon.

Is there a way to give with the url that calls a view a variable that filter the records that will be needed ? At the moment when I call a view I will get all records and then I can use by hand the filter as a dropdown list. What I like is that I give a parameter at the end of the url and then the filtered records get presented and visible. Bug with custom filter fields
I've found that there is a bug in setting custom filters. In my View (moe_idm/view/75, edit access given to support), I've found that whenever I add a custom filter with IEP1 = Murray, the IEP1 keeps changing to IR3. Currently there is only one custom filter, just change it from IR3 to IEP1, save, and edit it again. It'd have changed back to IR3.

?Import csv files into Creator?
Hello, I can see that the product allows file imports to define a Creator Form; however, I cannot see that it allows file imports to add rows to previously defined Creator Forms. Is this feature available? In order to use this great looking tool I really need to be able to import data from an other database tool. billgravelle

Hi, I have a couple of doubts. 1) How do I display a calculated field in the formview?I have calculated the field in the script but I want to display that field in the view. 2) now for a bug or I am doing it worng: "update records" within a "for each row" loop updates all the records with the value of the last row. whereas I expect it to update the value for that row. for example: I am doing a rate * comm for each row but it updates all the rows with the value of the last row's rate * comm value.

Little bug about the checkbox field type when they are mandatory (must have). When adding data in form view, if you uncheck the field (keep false) and Submit the form; the validation ask to verify that specific field (as if the field is still unset). Add Notes is flakey
Code has subtle and serious ommissions.... 1. Adding text color and style (bold.italics) is quite inconsistant. Color displays in EDIT mode but not in ACCESS mode..sometimes, but not always. 2. Often cannot edit text. Will not allow "delete" or "backspace" to remove characters. Only solution is to delete field and try again. 3. Relative location of "Notes" and other fields is not the same in ACCESS mode as it is in EDIT mode. Makes it hard to align Notes above or below other fields. rsw
