2 level field entry to avoid a big list of options in the pull down menu
I want a section in the New Leads tab to go something like this and avoid a huge number of options to choose from: Lead source - direct marketing (then have a pull down that says cold call, advertisement, email) - broker (then have a pull down that says individual broker, group, boutique bank) - industry (then have a pull down that says conference, tradeshow, magazine) My goal is to avoid a single pull down with 50 options, which given the # of lead sources I have (7) and the options per lead source
"Add to Task" not working at all
Hi, I'm using the email add-on, and successfully able to create new Contacts (but not Leads!) from the mail app ("Add to CRM"). Unfortunately the "Add to Task" function doesn't work at all. No error message, but not task created either ... Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Where does the Web-To-Lead form send the leads? Can't find them.
I created a Web-To-Lead form in Zoho CRM Setup and posted it on my site. It looks fine and it seems to work fine. I get the email notification just fine. The only problem is, I can't find the leads. Where the heck do they go? I've looked in the CRM under Leads. I looked under Approve Leads. Nothing. And there is no option to include the submitted data in the email notification so I've got no data! What am I missing? Can somebody please tell me where to find my leads? Thanks, DJ
How to model locations on inventory
We are using the inventory modules in CRM, but we have a problem modeling locations on inventory. Currently we have multiple warehouses and we need to separate quantities of products in each location. We tried including a custom field called location and putting the product multiple times. This works until we move stuff from one warehouse to the other (how can we model that?) What is the best way to model locations on inventory? For instance, when I export with comma seperated values, once in CRM, 544 in the batch are skipped and 955 added due to "empty values for the mandatory fields". The only mandatory field I saw was last name...one field that has been overlooked in my QB. I'm trying to avoid hours of data entry just to export into your CRM. Converting ACT companies into ZOHO accounts
Hi everyone, I have been using ACT for several years, but I am considering migrating all my data into ZOHO Mostly, my information is divided into COMPANIES, and then each company has a main contact or a few secondary contacts. Deletion of Calendar event in Google Calendar
I see how CRM calendar publishes to Google Calendar - Great. Hi On my home page I would like to see all the emails that have been received and not read. Is it possible to do this? Or perhaps there is a report? Mass update of activities
When mass updating a list of activities I am not given the option to update the contact or potential that they are all associated with, which seems like a more obvious application than mass updating the date on a bunch of activites to be the same date. If I have a list of 10 activities that I want to associate with a single Potential what is the quickest way to do this? Thanks

Sales Order - Product Auto-Restock for Rental System
Hi, I'm currently using the CRM to manage stock and orders for a hire company. Fine for tracking leads, products and sales orders, but the issue I have is: As you would expect, when a sales order goes out, the number of products in stock decreases. However, because this is a hire company rather than a sales company, in reality the stock is returned at the end of the hire period. Is there any way of automatically re-stocking the products as each sales order is created/completed?

Hi, Fairly new to Zoho CRM and liking it a lot. However, one seemingly simple thing I am finding hard to do is to generate a price list, (either as a report or as a simple list somewhere), based on previously created products and price books. Briefly : I have created a number of products and two price books, 'Standard' and 'Reseller'. What I would like to do is see a simple list of all the products with the following column headings : Product Name; Product Code; Standard Price; Reseller price.

CRM Gmail Gadget issue
The CRM Gmail gadget (to add a lead to Zoho CRM) never auto-fills the correct first and last name (which are displayed correctly in gmail...even if the person is not in your address book). Transfer Quickbooks Inventory to CRM Products
Our CRM is configured to transfer only products from Quickbooks to Zoho CRM. No Sync. We were able to get 16 items the first sync, however it did not grab all of our products. We then adjusted the mapping to bring down the rest of our inventory into Zoho and nothing came down. We have tried many different mapping selections with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark

Custom Field Data Not Being Replicated During Lead Conversion
Hello, Please forgive me, I posted something similar earlier, but in the wrong section. We are new here. We added 5 new custom fields to our Leads area and replicated them in Contacts, Accounts and Potentials. However, when we convert a Lead to a Potential, the data in those fields is not being carried over in either Contacts, Accounts or Potentials. How do we fix this? Custom Fileds not updated when Converting a Lead
Hello, We are new to Zoho CRM, so forgive us if this has been answered. We created about 5 custom fields in our Leads and chose to duplicate those fileds in Prospects, Contacts and Accounts. However, when we Convert a lead into a prospect, those fields are not being carried over, they are all blank. Is there a backend way to associate custom fields from one dataset to another? upload trade show leads - there MUST be a better way

Zoho CRM Outlook plugin keeps disappearing and reappearing

ZOHO CRM Email system confusion
ZOHO CRM email seems to be 2 separate systems. If you use the email module tab to access email, the features are different than if you access email through the Contact module. The email tab supports the address book, the new drag and drop attachment features, etc. The Contact module email access does not have these features. i.e. no drag and drop and it will not access the address book.
