formula to convert date and hours into total hours
I am trying to get the value of: start date & time and the end date & time. For example: 04/05/17 - 9:00 am and 04/05/17 - 5:00 pm = 8 total hours The value I am looking for is the Total hours hired for the day....In this example, the answer is 8 I am using the Date/Time field in Zoho CRM Please let me know if you need additional information. Age Potentials by Last Time Activity (ie last call)
I am wanting to age our potentials by last time called/activity. This would require a schedule to run every night to set each potential to last call grouping (ie: Under 14 days, 15 to 30 days, 30 to 45 days etc). I am having troubles trying to figure out how to do this? Any ideas

Hi, I was wondering if you have any idea for when the following will be possible with regards to custom layouts: - Retrieving all fields from a record using "getrecordbyid", including the unique fields. Currently only the fields that are shared with the "Standard" or main layout are retrieved. If I have any unique fields, their values won't come back. - Updating unique fields in a secondary layout - If a second or third layout has unique fields, you can't update them via API or custom functions.
Call Zoho Creator function from CRM function?
Is there a way to call Creator custom functions from inside a CRM custom function? Since CRM custom functions can only have a return type of void, I am wondering if I can write a custom function in Creator with a different return type (like int, or string) and then call that function from a CRM custom function? So far it seems that the 'call function' line in CRM custom functions can only call other CRM custom functions, which all must have return type of void. Am I missing something?

Hello, I am using Five9 telemarketing software to do outbound and inbound telemarketing. They will be recording all the calls our telemarketers make. How to change the order of Notes in Contacts to make the most recent appear first rather than last
All Notes are in visible in Oldest to Recent order oldest at the top. With tons of note history from legacy systems, scrolling to bottom for each contact is hugely inefficient. Thanks, Russ K

Lead Source in Leads different then the one in opportunites.
Hi, We have a Lead Source pick list in Leads and one in opportunities but they aren't the same but seem to be mapped??? If they are mapped after they were created separately would this be the problem? The reason we want them the same is some of our leads we pass onto distributors so they will never be converted and an opportunity created under that company but we still want to be able to track the conversion of these. Hi 2nd Post, Creating a view list from Contacts for a mass email. When i create the view list i find have several duplicated contacts. Further investigation after doing a deduplicate i find that the contacts aren't actually duplicated, but rather that the list created has generated the same contact for each product that is listed on the Contact page. If we are inserting XML data into our leads module via insertRecords method, is there any way to not show that was successful based on parameters? For example, We don't want to accept FL leads. <FL val="State">FL</FL> When this xml data is executed, I want to get a response that says record was not successfully inserted. Is the only way to do this through a webhook? Or is there a way for that success (as in screenshot) to show up as not successful?

In my current case we have an opportunity where we need to get back to the client not mid of next month - but it pops up in every sales meeting as it wasn't decided on until now (and will not before mid of next month). Is it possible to use macros for company-internal communications? The use case is: When a client makes a purchase for the first time, we need to set them up on our internal accounting system, and I would like to create a macro that sends the information we have in the CRM to a person in our accounting department who is not a CRM user.
