If I have multiple leads from the same company, how can I convert them all to the same account/company, showing each lead from as a contact for that company?
Customize Product Name Lookup Window
Hello, Is it possible to change the product lookup window in Quotes, sales order etc..? I prefer to use the product views and select our Sales products View. Now we have 200 products (170 parts and 30 sales products) It is quite difficult to find the sales products... Is this possible? If yes, how? Default value for Unselected checkbox in Web to Lead forms
Hello! I've got a web to lead form that I'm modifying. I'd like a checkbox/toggle that when checked it sets "Lead Status"= "I like tacos", but if it's not checked it defaults to "Lead Status" = "I hate tacos". This can be done in the front end with JavaScript, but the web form may be ran using a mobile browser so I can't rely on JavaScript being available. I understand there's a "hack" that can be done using type hidden field directly before the checkbox field using the same name as the checkbox
Layouts are not saved!
When I modify the layouts (Settings->Customization->Layouts) then layout doesn't get saved. I can move them around and once I click on save everything gets mixed again. Any idea why? Kian
Any experience using Zoho CRM for a small investment bank?
We are a small New England investment bank. We help business owners sell companies, buy companies and raise capital. We would use Zoho to manage our marketing efforts targeting not only business owners, but also those who would refer us to business owners, such as attorneys, accountants, wealth managers, etc. If anyone has experience in a similar environment, I'd be very interested in how it worked. "New" - New Task Tab
When creating a new task (ie under potential) a small pop-up bubble is shown when I click new task, with the basic information to be created and then subsequent pop-ups for more information. I understand how this could be helpful to some users and even in some cases for myself, but please put a link on that bar that takes me to the full task input screen. We put a lot of detailed info in our tasks. This change is very frustrating.
Attaching Photos
I see that we can attach photos to the potential records. Is there a way to see the photo displayed within the record without having to download it. We sell jewellery and take photos of rings that clients are interested in and would like to associate these to the clients records for future reference.

Workflow tasks out of order
Hello, I created a series of tasks and even numbered them 1 - 5 to try to avoid them being out of order. No joy. How to I get them to show up in the correct order? Please advise. Also - I used a lead source as a trigger for this workflow. I created a dummy lead to test and nothing happened. I have created this to help train new employees. Hello, Actually, it seems not longer possible to convert a lead to contact incl. creating case and link to campaign ! Once I submit the conversion, the page is empty and the browser hangs for hours. So I checked without linking a campaign, but creating a case. It took about a minute to display the contact resulting from the conversion. What looks like the half eternity. But the account and case have been created. Linking to campaign manually worked too... Regards Christian

Hi There, We want to test out the mass email feature as we haven't made use of it previously. For example - I'd like to email everyone that sent a sales enquiry during September - To thank them, and to send them an updated product catalogue in the case that they're still looking to purchase. ZohoCRM and ZohoCRM mobile quirks
I have two quirks I am trying to work out When I am in my ZohoCRM email and use "add-to" to create a "task" that task is not shown in my ZohoCRM or on ZohoCRM mobile. The task shows in the "task" area of Zoho Business. Why? When I add a calendar appt in ZohoCRM mobile that appt does not show or sync with ZohoCRM calendar. It shows on Zoho Calendar. Why? Website field gone after converting a lead to a contact. This field is important to what I do and all of my leads have it. Anybody know what I should to to keep the website field in the conversion between leads to prospects and contacts?
Making multi-line text box full size without stretching the box
In activities there is a description field. That field is multi line - free form. In view mode the filed is fully opened to accommodate all the text in the box. On edit the box shrinks to just a few lines. Can we change that so on edit it also shows all content without the user having to drag it open? Thanks

Hello, I searched through the CRM forum and was surprised that I couldn't find a post already on this topic. Perhaps I am missing the obvious. When viewing a task, I'd like to press a button that will copy the details of the viewed task to a new task. Can I do that?
Attached files are moving !
Hello, I'm chocked to discover that by converting a quote to and order, the attached files to the quotation are moved to orders. Then by converting the order to an invoice, the attached files are moved once more. So now I end up with the PDF of my quotation attached to the invoice ! And of course, no traces of the PDF of the quotation attached to the quotation... Is that progress ? Best regards Christian
Auto responder email sent straight to spam
Hi, I'm using web to lead and then sending an auto responder to the lead. When testing, these auto responder, emails are getting sent straight to my gmail junk mail. They have the following message on them: Be careful with this message. It appears to have been forged and did not originate from your account. Is there a way to send these emails through my smtp server, or to otherwise stop this? It's not worth sending the emails if they just go to junk. Thanks James
Formulas in Zoho-CRM-Making what should be simple impossible
I'm a fairly intelligent person, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to create a simple freaking formula..... There's a "formula =" above the box you create the formula.....which to me means that the name of the field I'm ATTEMPTING to create is "Field Name" = after which it appears that you need higher level math skills to even create formula where syntax is correct and allows the field to work properly. What's wrong with having a SIMPLE math calculation like ("Field A" X "Field B") +
Managing contacts through job changes
First, let me say that I don't know much about Zoho, though it's the only CRM I use. I know there is much I'm not capitalizing on, so perhaps this question is an easy one. When my clients change jobs, I don't want to lose the history I have on them from their previous job/company OR with them personally. How can I add fields to the Accounts listing? For example, right now I have a list of Accounts in a tabular format. I want to add the customer's address next to their name on the "Accounts" view. This way, I can find a reseller close to where a caller lives.

A week later I go to my activities page and there is a list of 20 people i need to send an email to. It would be helpful if we could send out emails by checking boxes in the list and then clicking on send email like you can from the contacts page. Let me know if I'm not being clear enough. Adding values of multiple currency fields in Campaigns
I want to track all costs that go into a single campaign (ie. one company did the graphic design, another company did the writing, etc.). The default "Actual Costs" field isn't sufficient. As such, I was thinking of creating custom currency fields to break down each cost. But how can I add the values of those custom fields together as one "Total Cost"? Use case: 1. Lead Import ignores most of my records
Im trying and trying to import my lead records from an .xls file. All of my critical information is complete in all the records, yet Zoho skips over half of them saying the records are incomplete I've rebuilt the .xls sheet 3 times now, even matching the field names exactly - pointed all field to Zoho fields and it STILL misses over half the records - saying they are incomplete. There are industries firld in Zoho CRM. That's great but threre are very big difference between example 2 B2B industries and ex. customers. For now in Zoho CRM I can't set different fields to accounts in dependence to industry. That's make accont field very messy when I have to view fields needend for one industry and not for anouter. I suggenst possibility to set custom fields for every account or only to particular industry. Thanks
