inventory module: quantity in stock is broken
for the last week, my warehouse thought they were losing their minds. The module used to function and now it is not. Create a Purchase Order - amount 'on order' increases Edit the Purchase Order to change status to 'approved' and the on order amount goes back to zero Edit the Purchase Order to change the status to 'received' - amount 'in stock' no longer increases and amount 'on order' goes into negatives - the improper 'zero' reduced by the correct amount ordered very urgent for us - please address
Migrating the Notes when promoting a Lead
Hello all When promoting a Lead to a potential, is there a way to keep the notes that have been placed in the lead? It would be really useful if we can Failing that, after a lead has been promoted, how do you go and review the notes of the "promoted" lead? That way I can manually copy the detail if required. Viewing (Previously Set) Tasks in Leads module...
Can anyone point me to an area that describes how to view and manage previously set Tasks in the Leads module? I can set a task without a problem but when viewing my set tasks I cannot see details (name, contact etc) of the Lead. I am sure this is a simple editing issue but have spent along time trying to resolve without any success. Many thanks Mike
Calendar module access denied
Hi We subscribe to the zoho crm professional and I want to be able to see the zoho calendar module but it doesn't seem to be available; I get this error message when I click on the 1 day or 7 day icon; Permission Denied You do not have permission to view this component as corresponding module has been disabled in your profile settings (or) in Organize Tabs How do I fix this? How to I edit or delete an email template folder once it is created? I have one that we made by mistake and I want to delete it. It does not contain any email templates. How can we do this?
Change user territory rights
By mistake I assigned a new user All Territories and then his own (GCC) territory. I want to take back that permission but cannot; I have de-cativated him and when I re-activate he comes back with the same permission (all territories). He (and others) are local sales offices and not actual employees and so cannot be allowed access to other accounts, etc.

How do i re-open my zoho crm account after it has been closed, it was not used for 120 days and now they have closed it, I have downloaded my data but i don't want to have to re-import it all. Is it even possible to re-open it? How difficult is it to import all the data? Thanks

Hello, I have thousands of different products and I only need one price book with NO pricing model. Is it possible to have a single standard Price Book that I can quickly and easily add ALL of my 10,000+ products to without manually having to click add to each page of 100 products? Is it also possible to have the list price automatically sync to the unit price?
"[ x ] Send Email Notification" option is Broken?
When creating a new task, an email is sent to the owner. However, beginning last week, editing a task and ticking the box to "Send Email Notification" fails to send an email to the task owner. We routinely hand tasks back and forth within our group by switching the task owner and selecting that option.
Importing Contacts - Possible to update existing records?
Hello, I'm evaluating Zoho CRM and investigating the feasibility of importing contact data into the system on a daily basis. I noticed that it appears that the only option for handling duplicate records in the free version is to clone them. I was curious if there is any mechanism (in the free or enterprise version) to support importing data on a daily basis and updating existing records on import as opposed to just overwriting/cloning them? Getting Validator Exception? Can't send emails!
I'm receiving the following when I try to send email. Email has been sending fine up until today. Nothing has been changed on settings. The domain ssl is valid. It happens when trying to send to any customer. Reason:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target Any help would be appreciated as we need to be responding to our customers. FREE version email response inside CRM?
Hi, with the free version of Zoho I am able to send emails from inside the CRM, but when they reply to my email it goes to my Gmail account and doesn't come back to inside the CRM. Do I have t have a paid account for that?
No Latest Activity / What's New Feed?

Google voice in Chrome -Zoho CRM useful feature
I have been looking for a worthwhile way to call contacts from Zoho CRM out of the browser. Seems that Zoho wants you to use skype (i use broadband card for internet, 5gb usage limit), I finally found an alternative solution. Open Zoho CRM in google chrome, download chrome google voice extension, and click to dial your contacts. Google voice will ring whatever line you choose and you use pick up the phone and it rings through to your contact.
More differentiation between modules
It has become apparent that when using Zoho every page/module looks similar. For example, when you are viewing an account, task, potential, etc they all have the exact same look. The only page that has a differentiated look is the contacts page because of the contact avatar and social icons. I propose that Zoho adds a colored indicator next to the name of the account, task, or potential. See attached image. This would be a nice graphical reference to what the page you are viewing. linking companies and contacts to mass update.
I have been using zoho for several years, find it a great product and for the most part can circumnavigate any issues I encounter. However the MAJOR bug bearer for me is not being able to mass update between Contacts and Companies ie when the last result in a company is changed to "meeting" I want to be able to mass update all the contacts we might have in that company to "do not contact" I can only do this as a report. I can't search my contacts for company last results so that it brings them up

Does anybody know how to make the notes field for contacts/modules not a text only field as well as attach documents? This currently drives my team crazy not being able to include attachments/email addresses/url's directly to a note. I import my leads using a spreadheet. Then, I send out a direct mai lmarketing campaign to those people. If they call in, I have an answering service that takes the call and enters the information into the system as a lead. how do I avoid having a duplicate entry for a lead if the person that calls in has already been imported into the CRM via the mailing list? "Send Notification Email" problems for Events module
Hello, For some reason, the "Send Notification Email" function does nothing from the Events module, but it works as intended on the Tasks module. For a real-world example, see the "test1" job (a Task) which successfully delivered job details to my e-mail address. "test2" job (an Event) also has "Send Notification Email" checked but does not send a notification when the job is created. Any ideas? We need events to be delivered to our subcontractors in order for your CRM to be useful for us. Thanks,

Way to Change Product Details in Invoice and Purchase Orders
I was wondering if it was possible to add and delete things from the invoices and purchase order's product details. I want to be able to add a column for categories, weight, value, etc. I searched in the forum and found that this was a suggested feature but I haven't heard if it is possible to customize the product details. The Product "section" under Quote details seems hard-coded - is there any way to change the fields that get brought in *from* the Products *to* the Quotes.
