VAT number field for new accounts.
To add new accounts I need to add the VAT number of my clients as well. Since this is crucial info in doing business, I suppose I need to look somewhere else to add it. thank you.
contact owner - select from group?
if i have users divided into groups (sales territory)...when i enter a new lead and want to assign a USER to that lead, is there a way to see only USERS of a particluar group in the "LEAD OWNER" lookup field? (so i dont have to see ALL the users, just users in a particular group)
Linking email
If I open a record in detail view and click on the email link, it opens Outlook. I can then send the message, but there is no record of that email logged in the contact detail. Is there a way to link the emails to the contact detail? Thanks. Bob Leeds
color Identifier for Events & Tasks displaying in Calendar.
Could we have the option to select from a list of colours or icons OR BOTH (maybe make it customizable) that can be selcted to identify an event in a calendar quickly as one thing or another? For example my calendar has a lot of bookings for childrens parties that do not require a balloonist. If i could colour them i could at a glance identify which are bookings that need a balloonist or a clown or are for a body artist or magician for example. 2011 ZCRM Roadmap?
Today I went back and looked at the current posting of the ZCRM "Roadmap" to see what features and upgrades are on the horizon. The good news is that almost everything that was on the "original" roadmap has been addressed. After the updates posted on April 1 and April 7 only a handful of items remain open. ( you might want to update the road map to reflect the recent updates too) The Disappointing thing was that nothing has been added to the roadmap as Zoho has chipped away at the list of improvements.

Email the contacts in invoices
As there is no possibility to create email templates using fields from invoices module, is there any chance we could have the option to send mass emails from the 'All Invoices' view (AND CREATE CUSTOM VIEWS) as you can with contacts. This would of course have to use the contact field (in the invoices module) the same way that it does for sending the invoice itself but on a mass scale. Eg. I would like to be able to send the same message to several customers all at once, who have bookings with us.
CRM mass email - related fields
Hello, When I'm sending mass e-mail to my contact list it would be excellent to relate contact data with quotes, potentials or some other module data. In that way all contacts could receive highly personalized e-mails with product info they've bought, price, date of purchase... Is something like this going to be implemented in near future? Scheduling or allocating calls for other users
Should be able to allocate a scheduled call to another user, the same as allocating an "Event" to another user.
Sorting contacts by latest Call
I want to regularly work my Contact list so I reach out periodically to all my contacts. Can I run a report that sorts my contacts from oldest- to most-recent Call? Can something similar be done for Emails?

Custom Fields have disappeared - why?
All my custom fields (all 22 of them) have disappeared from the "new contact" page, yet still exist & are visible in the "settings" pages, both "edit page layout" & "fields list". Ideas?........ Ta, Bob.

Formula Field does not work with basic operator
I can't seem to find anything relating to this in the documentation or in the forum for what I thought would be a pretty basic function... Even an example in the documentation would have helped.... No name fields in 'new account'.
I never used CRM software before, maybe I'm missing something here. I want to enter all my clients into Zoho CRM, manually. Since they're all companies, I use 'new account'. For Account name, I use the company name of my client. I also need to put in the first/last name of the owner + his email address. Are these fields just missing or do I have to fill in this additional info somewhere else? thanks.

Applying discount rates for specific customers
I am interested in using the Pricebooks section as you can apply discount rules to products. The problem is that you can only apply rules based on quantity of order and not to specific customers. I have customers that get a certain discount on products no matter how much they order. Is it possible to group these customers so that everytime they get a quote, the discount will be reflected for them? David
How to generate reports that include Notes information
I use a telemarketing company which does not have access to my instance of Zoho and are not interested in getting it. Therefore I need to extract information from Zoho in the form of a report about leads I need them to follow up and send it to them. Extracting contact details is no problem, but I really need to include notes from previous calls to them also. Is there any way the information captured in the Notes can be extracted in a report?

Google Apps - Zoho CRM login issue
Log in problem: Upgraded to Firefox 4.0 within the past week. Since then when logging into Google apps to access email and apps - I can not load Zoho CRM. In Google apps email when I navigate to "More" where Zoho CRM normally is active I get " Loading" which never resolves. I can access the CRM through the Zoho login page using the Google apps domain name. When I do get access to the CRM the data is slow to load into the Dashboard. Just FYI - I am operational but need additional steps to get there.

Updating calendar activity breaks the related to link?
Just noticed something today that when I update a calendar item (change meeting time for instance) in Outlook and then resync to Zoho, Zoho seems to lose any related to info that I previously set. Is this a bug?
Address is displayed incorrectly
On the Leads layout, I changed the address section to display in one column. When I go to New Leads, the address fields are squashed to the right hand side. (When I view existing leads, the address fields display properly.) How can I get the address fields to line up properly? I've included a screen shot of the problem.
typing bug while while entering account name in the 'creating a new contact' page

How to import Accounts including Contact information?
Hi, Can someone help me with this import problem: I want to import my accounts and related contacts from an Excel-file. No contact details are showed when I try to look for a contact
I click on Contacts and select one contact. Then I get this screen with no details of may contact. How can I resolve it?
Note formatting
Starting a couple of weeks ago when my co-workers or I click on a note to view the content, the popup that displays the note is often very wide and you can't even read it. The only way we have been able to view our notes is through "Print Preview".
New to CRM have a questions about Direct mailers
I do most of my marketing via Direct Mailers to companies. How would you suggest I do the following: 1. I need to mail a brochure once a month to potential customers. 2. If they buy i take them off the mailing list, and don't mail them again. 3. If they haven't i continue to send them a brochure. I would like to use the "Print Mailing Labels" feature available. Need help reporting on Lead activity
I would like to be able to have both Views and Reports of Leads, with the most recent associated activity (1 to 3 most recent Events or Tasks). Lead Reports can pick up associated emails and Notes, but not Events or Tasks. Views are unable to associate other data modules at all. Hi, does anyone know if there is a workaround whereby Zoho will save a mail merged document (not an email) automatically under the contact/ account attachments section? I have implemented ZOHO in my organisation and it has been used in earnest for over a year now with us steadily Increasing the amount we use it. We have SAP in our organisation and ZOHO overcomes many of the limitations that SAP has.
