Date in Sales Order? - Zoho CRM
Can anyone tell me how I would go about making it so whenever I create a sales order in zoho CRM it automatically puts the days date on the order? Thanks in advance for anything you can tell me.

I recently moved my business and 30 staff from Salesforce to ZohoCRM because I thought ZohoCRM looked like a good alternative to Salesforce at a more reasonable price. It turns out the product is about 75% as good as Salesforce, which is perfectly acceptable for the price, however ZohoCRM support is not a touch on Salesforce. How to store Segments?
Hi all We need to assign Accounts into Segments to work with them. - The segments can OVERLAP i.e. insurance companies are in Trucks - Insurance, Fleet - Insurance, Supplier segments. - There are MORE THAN 15 segments i.e. multi-value field is not a viable solution for this. - Because of segments' overlaps also the dependency between two fields e.g. Segment and Subsegment is not a solution as parent in the dependency cannot be a multi-value field. I am VERY angry with the CRM development team
I have been a paid user for 2 years. Our company has 30 seats of ZCRM. Offer attaching from the contacts view CRM
Maybe I am missing something but lets say I attach example.pdf to a contact in CRM then later send them an email and wish to attach example.pdf to the email it would be very smooth to attach right out of the "attachments" component on the contacts page. At this time I can attach direct out of zoho docs, but what if the file wasn't uploaded through Zdocs, taht means upload to Zdocs, then switch to the contacts page and attach from Zdocs. Extra steps. Why not make an attachment through the contacts

problem in inserting records
Hi We (sortmybooks) are long term customer of zoho crm and when i tried to insert records from our application to our own crm account, it is bringing us 4500 error. But it is working fine when we test this with couple of trial crm accounts. The problem occurs only in our licensed crm account. Finished with a potential- take off list but save?
I need a little help here, when I finish with a potential I want ti taken off the list yet accessible because there is a lot information to go back to when we do more business. I can make a report based on open potentials and save it but I want that report to always be showing when I click on a tab and updated in real time. Any way to do this? Thsnks, Greg

I am currently use both Zoho's CRM n Invoice .. I really wish I can just use 1 since: 1) CRM can incorporate my inventory 2) CRM already that have invoice feature But currently I m not doing so yet becos: 1) Invoice allows me to customise my Invoice number 2) Invoice gives me much more flexibility in customising the description in the final invoice Really since Invoice and CRM are both very well developed products .. why not just integrating both? Maybe the integrated version for the paid version

Integration with Writer
Hi Any update on this. Just had to watch a colleauge duplicate a load of effort in Act! so that he could produce a letter to be sent to a number of leads. Could have done it as an e-mail in Zoho, but not a letter. I know it has been asked for bfore and it really is needed. Please advise when this is planned. Steve
Where do I find translations?
Is there a table where you can see the translation made by the system? We have users that use English and Spanish versions of the system and have trouble figuring out the names the system use for each field. Thanks in advance

I have set up a custom view for our sales orders. I've have set up a few criteria for this The first set is: When I run this view, it returns 12 records For my second set of criteria I changed the number for the Aerosharp entry. This then returned 13 records. When I remove the number alltogether from the entry I would expect at least 25records to be returned, as it should include all the items from the first two sets of criteria. Having problems with Send Mail function after I converted to to Chrome Browser
I recently converted to Chrome from IE 8. Everything was working fine in ZohoCRM with IE 8, but wanted some of the benefits of Chrome in some of my other applications. Can not add this user (see attachments) CRM asks her to join and send the email to the admin. When the admin (me) clicks on the link the CRM says the user in already added to your account. Catch 22? I have tried to make it work with Akeela going through google apps and directly into zoho crm. Same result. Thanks Mike P.S. Default Sorting of Reports
When creating a report there should be a way to specify how you would like it sorted. Currently I can not tell what criteria is being used to sort my reports, but whatever it is doesn't make a lot of sense. We run a report weekly of our Prospects (Potentials) that we like to sort by Priority, and then by stage. Currently I have this report scheduled to run Sunday night and sent to a number of people to discuss for our Monday morning meeting. The report seems to be always sorted in a random order.
