Lost notes data
Hello, in Zoho CRM I can not see my last notes. This happen in all the contact that have more than 10 notes (I know that there are more notes because in the left there is a small number near notes that show how many notes you have for the contact). How can i fix this problem?also in the search there aren't the last notes. Thanks!
System-Defined Fields?
Is there no way to work around deleting system-defined fields? Specifically, 'Closing Date'. In the Opportunity/Potential space, we do not always have a closing defined in early stages. I suppose we can just put the date out several months, but then we are putting inaccurate information into our system - which is not best practice. However, I do not understand how a system that is supposed to be customization would place fields in that cannot be removed if unwanted. Please fix this Zoho. Thanks,

Assigning leads to territories
When a lead comes in, we need to assign that lead to a sales rep based on the territory they cover. It seems crazy that you can't do this. Who worked the lead that became a DEAL or an Account, if it wasn't previously assigned to that someone?? It looks like the only way you can assign leads is by creating a workflow and having to manually type in every state. It would be so easy if you could use Territory Mgt. I must not understand the purpose of it.
Only 10 notes on leads are showing
Hi We are experiencing a problem where only a maximum of 10 notes on our leads are showing and the rest are hidden. I believe that this is a bug in the interface. If I navigate to a Lead that has fx. 15 notes attached, 3 notes will be showing by default and the top right corner of the note element says 3 of 15. The notes shown are however not the newest and when I click View Previous Notes only 10 will be shown. Is there something I can do to view the remaining 5 notes or is this something that can
Accounts, Contacts, can i change the system-defined fields ?
Hi everyone, i've just start to use zoho crm, and i would like to know if it's possible to change system-defined fields on the Native Account or Contact Modules ? For example : Account Modules I cannot change Account Name to a fields ```ID Account``` who will an auto number field. IMAP states SERVER DISCONNECT, but my IMAP port is open
After using Zoho CRM for a few months, and the IMAP integration working well, I went to update the password on my account and saw that rather than syncing sucssesfully (or not), I was given a SERVER DISCONNECT error. I checked with my IT department, who stated taht your firewall and IMAP ports for the internal email server are open. However, when I checked my host name, the port is closed. Any idea what is causing this, or how it can be resolved?? Thanks in Advance!
Edit contact fields via deal
Hi, is it possible to set up a deal so that when it is set to a certain stage 1) certain fields from the contact associated in the deal are shown in the deal (so contact can verify their details) 2) and if needed be able to update from the deal (so that it syncs back to the contact field details) 3) Also the ability for those contact fields to be mandatory only when deal stage is set

Zoho CRM API V2 and python SDK
Hi, I was trying to access ZohoCRM record using API V2 and python SDK but I'm stuck. I'm using a simple python script from my Mac so not a sever and this seems to be the first problem: I cannot connect. I went to https://accounts.zoho.com/developerconsole and created an API but I cannot figure out how to configure zcrmsdk. I copied and pasted the information into oauth_configuration.properties but it doesn't connect. I also tried to create a self_client key but I cannot figure out how to use it.
Change SMTP server
Our email system has been updated and the SMTP server has changed. Under settings > email, I can see the existing SMTP server name but it seems impossible to change it. Please let me know whether there is a way to change the SMTP server name.
Request - Change the column width of field views
Posted earlier about this, so here's the main idea! On the start page I've created a module of open activities. And in that activity I've chosen to add company name a long with other information fields. The problem is that a lot of the fields is so narrow that the field turns into 2- or 3-rows.. :/ WE REALLY NEED to be able to to adjust the column widths preferably the same way as you can do in excel or word, with other word just to click the outlining and drag it to a wishful position, a work around

How to automatically update a field in a Deal record when I upload/send a mail merged doc thru Zoho Sign?
- I have a Deal record that contains a date field called "Date Contract Sent." - I create a mail merged document from that Deal record. - I upload that document to Zoho Sign and send out to a customer thru Zoho Sign. How can I set it up to automatically update the "Date Contract Sent" field to <today's date> upon the trigger/completion of sending out the mail merged document from Zoho Sign? To put it another way: how do I tightly and automatically connect a merge/sign event to a Deal? Thanks!
Best Practice for Assigning a Target to a Sales Rep
I understand how to assign a Lead to a sales rep, but what if I have a company that I think would be a good prospect and I want to assign it to one my reps, but I don't have any Lead info (like name, title, contact details, etc)? Whats the best practice for this? I suppose I could fill in dummy info for the Lead OR I could create a new type of Lead that has no individual contact info?

Hi, Looking to integrate Mailchimp with CRM. I want to set up two integrations, one for leads and one for contacts. I then want to map certain fields to Mailchimp so I can segment the mailing lists. I also want to be able to see within the contact or lead page a section which tells me the emails they have been sent and if they have been opened. If this possible with the Mailchimp integration? Alternative to custom fields in Zoho CRM Free?
Hi, I'm exploring a move from Hubspot to Zoho CRM free version I've just done a test data migration but none of the custom fields have come over. I now see here are no custom fields in the free version. The fields are used to signify if a contact has volunteered to be part of a specific team (there are 10, and it each one can be Yes/No (or black) or Leader. Is there a viable alternative to moving this data over to Zoho? Perhaps a note that says something like: "Technology - Yes Legal - Yes, Leader

Problem select Opportunity Layout when converting leads
Hi, In the Opportunity (Potential) module, I created 2 layouts In the Opportunity Settings. The 2 layouts are assigned to Adminitrators and Standard profile. However, when I want to convert a leads to a contacts and create an opportunity, I'm not able to select which layout... I can only select layout "a"... As an Administrator, what am I missing ? Thanks

Customize product's price based on some criterias.
Hello Zoho experts, I hope you're all good. I'am facing a new challenge that I couldn't resolve so far that I thought maybe I'd get some help. In fact, in zoho crm as you know, when creating a product, you can only attach ONE price to ONE product. In our case, we have some products that, their prices are depending on other criterias like, size of the project, length... So we cannot attach one price to one product. Sorting Numbers Problem
When sorting numbers in Zoho CRM and Zoho Sheet, it does not sort properly. It should sort numbers like this: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. Allow for different subscription levels
We have an external sales force. We currently use CRM Plus internally. I would love it if we could add our external sales rep to our CRM but to pay $50 a month for each user when they are only using one module is not cost effective. I would like to see a way for our sale reps to use the CRM at regular CRM pricing and not CRM Plus.
