Social Tab changes owner of Lead/Contact and overwrites other fields
Hi We have recently noticed that when we already have a Lead with all of its info inside Zoho CRM and that lead communicates with us through Facebook and we Associate its Facebook Profile with its Lead ID in Zoho a couple Fields get overwritten: For example: Lead OWNER gets changed to the User making the Association Lead SOURCE gets changed to Facebook, even though there was Another Lead Source previously selected. There is NO WAY to deselect/remove these fields prior Associating within Social Tab.
Lead Assignment Rules - Zoho Webforms
Does anyone know is it possible to utilise the lead assignment rules with Zoho forms? We currently have 3 categories for lead assignment based on industry, 2 of the groups are assigned to individual users and the 3rd group is to be round robin out to other users. I have tried the Lead Assignment app in Zoho marketplace but that just round robins the leads to every user in the CRM, which is completely useless if you have non-sales users. There doesn't seem to be any way to create a group of users
How do we close a lead?
I have received some leads that were irrelevant nad marked them as junk leads to prevent further digging into them bu they still show up in list of open leads. How do we terminate leads? Workflow rule conditions change
I have a workflow rule that triggers when field "A" (a checkbox) is updated. The workflow sends 3 e-mails (one a week) to a prospective customer for a certain product. What I want to do is stop the workflow if the customer makes the purchase -- so they don't keep getting e-mails asking them to buy something they have already bought! Zoho CRM Checkbox show badly designed on Chrome
We use Chrome and the Checkbox when selected show very badly. Little points show up instead the whole Checkbox. Attached it goes the image showing the issue. Maybe a little padding in the CSS for all checkbox? Guys from Zoho web design? Can you see it?
Relationship History
As a professional services firm we need to capture any relationship that a "new hire"/staff member has with our existing Contacts/Accounts. To be useful I need these users to specify the extent of this relationship (via a custom field I have created) and record the date that they made this entry. Once updated all fields should be locked to prevent future edits. Assuming someone can resolve the need to have a LookUp field that lists our users/staff members I am assuming the only means for handling

Creating report to find records without an Activity in a particular state
Is there a way to do this? In effect, I need to check for the lack of existence of an Activity (Tasks, in my case). Further, I want to generate a report that shows me Leads/Deals/Accounts/Contacts with no Activity having a Status of Completed.
Caution in Zoho Sheet View - you will lose data changing the column format!
I'm pretty sure I discovered that when you pull down a view in Zoho Sheet View, and change a column from numbers to currency, then save it, Zoho gets confused and wipes all the data out. Therefore, unless Zoho fixes that, be careful to never change the format of a column in the Sheet View prior to saving the view. Drew.
Mass Zombie Post Revival
Zoho... please stop doing these all of a sudden mass-replies to old “zombie” threads! I understand wanting to answer every question posted. But sometimes you just need to accept your mistakes and move on. When you reply to all of these threads which are all over a year old, you end up pushing all of the more recent active posts to the bottom of the list.
How do I track the sales process of multiple product lines?
I'm an insurance broker and just started using Zoho CRM. Is there a way for me to track the sales process of multiple product lines (eg: Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, and Life Insurance). In my head I see it as having 3 different pipelines but I'm not sure if that's the best way to structure it. If I have one lead interested in more than one product line then I'd have to set up multiple potentials for the same lead. A little help anyone. Mike

Custom field data not converting to accounts but is converting to contacts
Hi, I have several custom fields set up and MAPPED as advised in your tutorial and this works fine however on conversion of a lead the custom field data doesn't import to the accounts screen. I inported this data from an XLS file and the data display correctly in leads but when I conver the data only converts to contacts but not the accounts despite everything being mapped correctly. I just started an Enterprise Trial CRM and I run into a problem: I am stuck on the first page in the contact list (contact 1 through 50). If I click on the arrow (right bottom of page) to go to the next page (contact 51 to 100) nothing happens:
Doing imports from xls file and Account owners field not mapping.
I am importing from accounts from an XLS file . Accounts are imported however the mapping for the different Account owners are not occuring. All accounts are being assigned to one owner. All the owners/users are already in the CRM and are all active.

I often find that I want my Leads view to be exported. Currently I need to create a whole new report if I want to do this. Can we export a Leads view or have the ability to make a Leads view into a Report so that I don't have to re-create it? It would save me time.

How does CRM handle products with 2 or more models?
Hello guys, this may be very basic, but how should I handle products with more than 1 model? For example, I sell desks. It's the same desk design, but one is 200cm long and the second one is 170cm long. Obviously, their prices aren't the same, so I need to specify in the quote to my client the lenght and therefore the change in price. I don't want to create two separate products, since it is the same design. It's the same product with model A and model B. Thanks a lot for the help. Rod.
email issue in ZOHO leads
We have setup a ZOHO CRM system for 2 users with outlook 365 integration thought the plugin. All works fine only i have one question. On the page of a lead you have the email section. Here you have following option : 1)sent Emails from CRM 2)All 3)IMAP SHARED USERS. ( and both users are shown ) How come i cannot see ALL email ( sent from within ZOHO + sent from OUTLOOK ) when i select ALL ? Thanks in advance Andrew

Time Zone Issue
Hi, I did read through the forums to find an answer with no results. I Have my personal and organization times zones set at the same time but still am two hours of between my phone app and being on the site directly. My Google Calendar is set for Central time as well. How do I adjust things so the time zones match? Do I just have to set my personal settings 2 hours behind so It coincides with my phone app?

RTF for notes and using links
Is it possible to use RTF in notes for leads or contacts, or in task descriptions/notes? I like to use bullet points to summarize my notes and doesn't seem like I can do so in Zoho (although ironically this forum has plenty of formatting options!). Also, is it possible to insert links in notes or descriptions? I often take my notes in Evernote and would like to link to them. In fact, is there any Evernote integration available in Zoho? Thanks!
