Is there a plain version of zoho mail?
Firstly, zoho mail is really impressive with lots of feature. I was just wondering if is there a plain version because I basically use email only and I don't quite need the office suite and even the calendar. Thanks

Hello, Maybe I absolutely do not understand how Zoho works. I originally got Zoho because my work email is POP and cannot be upgraded at this time. However I can forward. I have 2 mobile devices that need access to my email and have a personal email I needed routed somewhere I could access. I have a domain and set up 15GB/User on a trial period. Yet I have no way of upgrading this. I find Zoho very difficult to navigate, almost archaic. I also had to send about 9mb in attachments

How to Edit Email "From" field for Alias accounts
Hello: Is there a way to customize the "From" field for emails I send using my Alias Email accounts? Right now, this field's value defaults to the text before the @ symbol e.g. for the alias email: myname@email.com the recipient will see 'myname' in their inbox's 'From' field. Moving a message to Inbox resets message received date
When moving a message stored locally by my mail client to the Inbox of my Zoho account, the "received" date associated with the message becomes the current date. None of the raw headers in the source message appear to be modified, so I suppose this date is stored external to the message. Corrupt email on palm pre
Hi, I'm getting corrupt emails bodies on the Palm Pre - accessing over IMAP (works fine when accessing the same account via POP) In some emails I get '=09 =09 =09 =09 =09 =09.....' all the way through, in another I get '=20' or '=AE' inserted inline in the messages seemingly randomly. In a few others I get attachements not appearing, and the message area being filled with the data from the attachment. I have done both the HTML and CNAME method and nothing seems to work. I am on GoDaddy and followed the steps but I can't get it to validate. Has anyone else had these problems?
Problem adding contact categories
Hi, I'm evaluating Zoho. I'm using Zoho contacts and am trying to add a list of new categories so that I can categorize each of my imported contacts. However, after entering 18 categories, it won't let me enter any more. Even when I delete an existing one it still won't let me add a new one (just sits there at the Enter Category dialogue box). Is there any limit on the number of categories you can have? Is this limit only for the free version or does it also apply to paid versions. Regards Keith

Can send but not receive emails
I just created my account today. I used a couple different providers to send myself test emails. They got bounced with error messages. However, I was able to send an email from my zoho (custom domain) and receive it on my gmail account. What gives?
How do I get the time to display in received email?
The time the email came through only displays in email received today. If I'm away for a couple days, I cannot tell what time of day an email from one or two days ago came through. Many times this is important. How do I remedy this so it displays either on the main inbox page or within each email when I open it?
Unread messages occasionally not in inbox
This issue has become quite irritating and problematic. I have been finding emails in my Unread messages box that have not made their way to my inbox. Storing Emails Permanently
I'm looking to upgrade to Zoho Mail and read a response that if a contact email address changes we would lose all emails addressed to that client account? I'm in an industry that consolidates frequently and can not have emails disappear if X buys Y and its now customer@Y.com instead of X.com. Did I misunderstand? Does Zoho mail STORE the email or just link it?

Hi, I am a bit unclear on your Terms & Conditions where it describes the "Inactive User Accounts Policy." What is Zoho's definition of an "inactive user"? Hi, Mail Hosting issue I've added my domain and enabled mail hosting at zoho. I've changed the MX records in the DNS at my Domain to mx.zohomail.com (Pri 10) and mx2.zohomail.com (Pri 20) but my emails are still going to my original mail server where my websites are being hosted. re new deesign of zoho mail ("flags" and folder icons)
1) is there a way to have "flag" field back on the left side? 2) also, folder icons are gone... its hard for eyes to find the right folder and get focused on it when there are no icons. any way to get them back? 3) about the contrast - a little bit more of it would be much better in everything else - good job, zoho team!
problem setting up zoho as a pop account in Mac Mail
I just signed up for zoho mail, and I want to be able to download to my Mac via POP. I followed the instructions for setting up my account in Mac Mail, and enabled POP service in my Zoho settings. However, when I initially tried to set up the account, I got a warning that Mail could not contact the server. When I tell Mail to fetch new mail from my Zoho account, the Activity window displays a "preparing to retrieve messages..." message, and the Mail Activity panels shows two messages downloading

inputting emails from certain senders to separate folders

Outlook IMAP: when i delete emails it is permanently gone. no recycle bin
when we delete emails in outlook, it is permanently deleted!! it does not go to trash nor recycle bin. this is a problem, one of our staff just accidentally deleted her emails in her inbox. all of it. since outlook deletes everything permanently, we do not know where to find her deleted emails. please help. can you restore her emails back? when can we get her old emails and how can i get her old emails back? how can we fix the delete (should go to recylce bin or trash first) issue to avoid
How to get Zohomail to be the default?

Problems with incoming mail - Zoho business mail
Hi, using Zoho business on with info@muvipromo.it (domain verified), I can only send but not receive emails. On the settings panel, both incoming and outgoing emails seem to be active. Hello, I have my zoho mail account all setup properly using my pc. I am having GREAT difficulty setting this also up on my Iphones & my android phones. When I follow all the setup instructions for these phones, it sets up just fine, BUT it sends my mail as ***@zoho.com, not from my domain name address. PLEASE HELP! Hi, I have set up a new account and have two domain names hoseted with mail suite and have successfully set those up to send and recieve. Now i am trying to configure a gmail account and another account. I have the ingoing and outgoing settings as well as the login and passwords for the servers. I have even gotten as far as being able to send email from the gmail account and the other pop account but am still unable to recieve messages. Any help would greatly be appreciated! I am pretty sure

Is there a way to mass archive or delete emails? Selecting the page of 50 emails to delete or archive makes deleting thousands to be very tedious. Is there a way of selecting more than the page of 50 emails to delete or archive at once? Thanks, Cheryl

account validation
Hi i just created a new account and validated the domain. in the process of creating the email addresses, i must have changed the email address which the email verification link goes to and im not able to log into the account or change the email address to my gmail account so the verification can be sent to it. when i go to the account validation and try to get another email sent out, it sends it to the created @domain account and im not able to access this. is there any other way i can get the email

When trying to analysis Zoho e-mail Header from my sent folder; e-mail Header Analysis returns the following: "We could not find and not detect sender IP Address from email header. The source IP Address is not included in headers and there is nothing we can do. Sometime Gmail header does not include sender IP Address." Any idea why or how to correct this?
What Font is Used in eMail Replies
What font (typeface, size and style) is used when a Reply to an eMail is being written? It's important to know. As it is now, the system picks fonts randomly. The author needs to re-format with respect to font after the random fonts are put in the document. This means that the author can not practically format text while editing, because the random fonts selected by the system while typing will all have to be overwritten anyway, removing the previously author-selected fonts.
Missing Emails???
I am really confused. I have set up my Zoho mail to pull messages direct from my email server and all seemed to be working well. Then I looked into my gmail account which I have also synced to my email mail server and there were three or four emails that had not come through gmail but not on the Zoho mail???? I am confused as to why this would happen. Please advise how I correct this and how I config both to work together. These messages where days older and I only go into my gmail account to check
