Time Tracking against Leave Allocations
Hello, We started using using Zoho People about 6 months ago for our HR needs. One thing I've noticed is that in configuring the various Leave categories there is no way to connect real time tracking from the allocations. Many times I learn of an absence after the fact from reviewing time recorded in the system and need to manually submit a leave request for an employee to keep the records up to date. Is there a way in People to perform a validation and subtract against what an employee has available
Data export and Forms update
Hi, First of all, I'd like to be able to export selected datas from a form, and not the whole set of datas. Is there any solution in order to do that ? There are some filters in a view of form datas, but when you try to export it as an excel, it gives you all datas from the beginning. Secondly, I made an update on a form I built a few weeks ago. I added a check box. I tried to use again my form and there is no problem, but when users tried, they told me the check box is not visible. I checked the
Attendance tracker recording check in - check out as absent
This is a very bizarre problem, During March, our receptionist clicked check-in when she started her day and check-out when she finished and it recorded it, correctly, as present. For April though, it's been recording every day as absent - but it's tracking the hours, it says she was absent for 8 hours for example, so it knows she's selecting check in and check out, but... it's putting them as absent. I've gone through all the settings, I've tried changing it manually, inputting the times manually..
Formula fields with dates and half days
Hi, I'm currently trying to create my own leave form. I know there is an existing form but it doesn't fit my needs. For that purpose, I added two date fields, one for the first day of leave and the other for the last day. I can easily calculate the difference between two dates, but I did not found how I could handle half days. I currently use two dropdown menus to get the "half day" information, but I cannot use this information in a formula field. Do you have any ideas about my problem ? Finally,
Attendance Time Zone
Please consider having the check in and check out feature on the Attendance module for Zoho People update the time zone automatically to the local time zone based on the mobile phone or computer being used. Our staff travels frequently and has to manually update the time zone each time to see the correct time. An employee suggested the timezone pull automoatically from the mobile that they are using to check in and/or the computer. Thank you, Lisa Swiger Accessibility Services, Inc.

One of my new users is having an issue uploading her photo to her profile. I have the system set to display user uploaded photo. When she tries to upload from her computer, nothing happens. Is there a size issue? Or is something else going on?
Can we make a performance appraisal form in ZOHO People
Dear all, I've been using Z People for a week. I would like to build a Performance Appraisal form with some criterias and their weight. My employees can evaluate others in this form. I did not see any where to do that. Should I build these form with Z Survey? Thanks in advance. Lam

When logged in as Admin can you quickly see another profile view?
I'm currently building some custom forms which will have different levels of access in my organisation and different views depending upon role. Is there a quick way that when I am logged in as admin I can see what other users will see. So I can be sure that they can only see what I want them to see.

Timesheet Interface
Hi everyone, I am starting using Zoho People. We have found very interesting the timesheet feature. We would like to add the hours worked to the projects we are currrently working on. But we are interested to do this on a weekly basis as doing in manually and daily takes lots of time. My question is if it would be possible to create and interface where we can add the week timesheet and integrate it to Zoho Reports? Employee tree does not work
There are several employee in our organization. the employee tree does not work. only two people are shown in the tree window. but all our employee are report to. the whole report-to graph is a regular tree. The employee name is in Chinese. and lots of field items are in Chinese. Is there a problem working on Chinese in report tree? Thanks.
Get Employee status via attendance API
Would it be possible to implement a GET for the attendance API to be able to query whether a user checked in or checked out and at what time they checked in or out?
Attendance Time Worked Calculation -
Is there a way to set a time guideline that is not included in the time worked for each day? We ask our employees to not login more than 5 minutes before their start time. Even when they login 5 minutes early it is being added to the time worked for the day. I do have the standard schedule set to 8 - 4:30.
Control order of Views?
Is there a way to control the order of views to filter data in Zoho People? I like that I can create views and make them public but there does not seem to be a way to order them -- and there does not seem to be a default order such as alphabetical? Can anyone tell me how to force an order or minimally tell me what zoho uses to sort them by default? Thanks!

I Have an accountant working with a company using Zoho People. He is about to start working with a second company also using Zoho People. How can I handle this? Does he need different email addresses?
New User Passwords
We are encountering an issue when creating new user accounts. We create a new user in Zoho People, and the new user receives an email address with the following text, "Please follow the instructions given below to access your Zoho People account. 1. Is there the possibility of creating multiple day holidays? We are trying to add the Lunar New year for our employees in Asia and can only specify 1 day per holiday, which is a problem.

Permissions to Manager
My regional manager cannot see records for those under her. I have her set with a role that has permission to see her subordinates. The people under her all are connected to departments that have her department as the parent department and she is set as the lead to that parent department. Also, employees are set to report to her. She still sees no one on her employee list. What am I doing wrong?

Fire Report
Is there any way to generate a fire report? Basically a list of all users that have checked in that have not checked out? Or a status board showing presence of all employees?
Day Leave Report for all Employees
Hi I have realised that the "Day Leave Report" shows the leave of all employees for a particular day, but only for users, which have "manager" status, but not to "employees" Is there a way, that everybody can see this report with all employees of the company?
Vacations days per year
Hello, In my country, the law states that vacations for an employee "resets" every 12 months, not calendar year like my zoho is configure right now. example: if i join a company August 1 2014 i have 14 vacations days to enjoy. The next 14 days will be acredited or rollover on August 1 2015. How can i set up my zoho to count vacations balance this way not per calendar year. Thanks a lot!
I Worked 14 Hours Today??
There appears to be a major glitch with the check-in/check-out. I checked in this morning and worked for about an hour. Then checked out. I checked in again, and noticed that the "total time" indicator looked to be more than I had done. I did my work and checked out. Then... On a whim, I just checked in again, and.... it says I've been working for 14 hours and 30 minutes. Umm.... Huh?? My total should be about and hour and a half. Job Hours field limit

We have a Standard account with Zoho People and cannot upgrade to the Premium edition. I hit "Subscription," "Change Plan," "Premium Edition," and "Pay" before it takes me back to the starting screen telling me I have the Standard Edition still. Custom Views in Zoho people
is there a way to create a view that allows me to calculate the total number of a particular set of data in Zoho People? For instance, I want to know the total number of female employees in my company... I can create a view of all of the females in my company but i want a view that just tells me there are 50 females in my organization.. Thank you!
Formulas - Length of employment
Employee start date is 02 July 2014. Still employed (do the date of exit is blank). I need to show how long he has been with the company in years, months & days. I have used the following formula to try and show how long an existing employee is with the company, as this is what what shown in the help menu: (Date of Exit - Date of Joining) / (1000 * 60 * 60 * 24) the column is showing the result as -16253.29 . Could anyone assist or suggest what I need to do to fix this?
