Back in Time: A Recap of Zoho Marketing Plus in 2023

2023 was filled with a lot of important updates for Marketing Plus to help make marketing simple. With just a few days left, let's revisit some of the popular updates to Marketing Plus and welcome 2024, on a high note!

Manage marketing budgets

The budget board in Marketing Plus lets you plan and define a marketing budget for all your activities and track expenses. It includes paid ads, printing brochures, flyers, software subscriptions, and so on.
 
The budget can be defined annually, monthly, or for every quarter, depending on your preference. Various dashboards are available to help you monitor the expenses, identify the types of marketing activities on which you spent the most, and ensure you stay within the allocated budget.

Inbox in Social: One place for all interactions

Inbox lets you manage all your social media interactions, such as comments, replies, reviews, messages, questions, dark comments, and so on across various social media channels. You can track and assign them to your team members manually or automatically from Social.

Create Facebook reels, Instagram stories, and posts on Mastodon

Social in CRM Plus extended support to publishing reels on Facebook, stories on Instagram, and posts directly on Mastodon. You can also get in-depth analytics on the performance of these posts across all channels.

All new email designer in Backstage

The email designer in Backstage has a completely revamped user interface which now lets you design and customize emails from scratch. You can also personalize emails with dynamic emails, and merge tags, and also segment the audience with ease.

Apply color codes to marketing projects

To simplify the process of identifying and organizing similar marketing projects in Marketing Plus's Brand Studio, we've introduced an option to add associate marketing projects with specific colors. This helps you visually identify the project you're looking for from a huge list more easily. You can also add appropriate colors to indicate the priority of the project.


Sort and search marketing projects

The complete list of marketing projects can now be sorted using different criteria.
  • Recently created: Displays the most recently created marketing project at the top.
  • Project name: Displays the marketing projects in alphabetical order from A-Z.
  • Launch date:
    • Newest first - Sorts projects based on their launch dates in descending order.
    • Oldest first - Sorts projects based on their launch date in ascending order.

You can also search for a marketing project by its name and location to make it easy for you to find a single project from a huge list.

Deleting marketing projects

Marketing projects can be directly deleted by the project owners, or the administrators under the following conditions:
  • When there are no activities or resources associated with it.
  • When the project only has activities assigned to users, or the status is marked as "Not Started."
If the activities are already created in a marketing project, you can get the help of our support team to delete the marketing project.
