The updates for the third quarter of 2024 are out. A few new features and enhancements have been rolled out to improve user experience and product capabilities.

Introducing objectives and key results
Objectives and key results (OKRs) is a well-established progress tracking method that is widely used in agile project management. The all-new OKR board in Zoho Sprints equips you with a well-organized goals determining system. Add objectives and key results, assign values to your key results, track the progress of your key results and objectives, and ensure your team remains target oriented.

Custom rollup field
A new custom field called rollup field is added to the list of existing fields. This field enables you to automate the calculation process, eliminate manual effort, and get accurate values. The field comes with predefined rollup functions which you can select based on your requirement. Specifying this will help you automate the calculations and have the values populated.

Associate releases with sprints
Perviously, releases can be associated with work items. Now, you can directly associate releases with sprints. This, in turn, associates the releases with the items that belong to those sprints, allowing you to manage your tasks and have them delivered within the stipulated timeframe of the release.

Create Google Drive files and folders
The Google Drive extension now includes an enhancement with the capability to create new Google Drive files and folders directly from Zoho Sprints. So, you could either associate your existing files to work items or create new files and folders in your Google Drive from your work items. Additionally, you can also export work items as files directly to your Drive folders.

Import projects from Azure DevOps
You can now transfer your Azure DevOps projects to your Zoho Sprints workspace to adopt an agile scrum project management style. The import is secure and seamless, and you will be able to import all the vital modules from Azure.

Block work items
The Block Item action allows a temporary or permanent suspension of activities on a particular work item. A blocked work item disallows all the users from making any updates to the work item, providing the ability to restrain all actions pertaining to that item. None of the users can update the items until it's unblocked again. However, assignees can add comments to the work item.

Summarized emails
Your email notifications now get an additional capability to have your notifications complied into summarized emails. You can define the intervals at which you need to get notifications. The notification will provide a summarization of all the updates that took place within that timeframe.

Update email alias link
Permission requestor option
The permission requestor option now allows users to easily raise a request to access a project, workspace, sprint, or item that they are not part of. The users are provided with the appropriate request link to send the request to the approver directly. The approver can either approve access or reject access based on the existing project requirement.

Introducing answer bot
Zoho Sprints now comes with an Answer Bot that will allow you to quickly find relevant resources related to your queries. This is an added user assistance tool for you to enter your queries and find answers before having to contact our support team.
