Dear customers,
Motivator for Zoho CRM is an innovative tool designed to boost your team's productivity by tracking critical business metrics and targets. We're thrilled to announce that we've made a series of enhancements to the tool to improve usability and provide more controls for team/employee management:
- Announcements on TV channels
- On-track and off-track analysis for targets
- Option for refreshing individual components
- Enhanced team creation
- Hierarchy-based views for users
- Additional date granularity
Without any further delay, let's dive into the specifics!
1. Add announcements on TV channels
The TV channel feature now includes an announcement section. This functionality enables you to include important messages right in your channel's broadcast, offering a more dynamic way to share critical updates or information. Whether it's a significant achievement, an urgent directive, or spotlighting a department's breakthrough, your displayed message will ensure everyone's alignment and awareness.
The announcement icon on the TV channel list allows you to modify or remove the announcement.
2. On-track/off-track analysis
The on-track/off-track analysis feature has been newly added to the Targets feature in order to help monitor the progress of a target over time. This feature provides a more precise way of tracking targets, allowing users to keep their goals on track and on schedule. It helps filter out targets based on their completion status, enabling users to identify areas where progress has fallen behind (off-track) or areas where progress has been made (on-track). Users can use this feature to help users stay on track and reach their goals promptly.
For example, take the "Revenue to Generate" component, which operates on a monthly scale. For a typical month lasting 31 days with an ambition of 27,000 points, the daily target hovers around 870.9 points. To remain "on-track" by the 10th day, the cumulative tally should surpass 8,709.6 points. Achieving figures like 10,000 points by this 10th day ensures that the company stays ahead of the curve, and is accordingly categorized as on-track.
On the other hand, the "Leads Created" component operates on a weekly basis. With its weekly target fixed at 21 points, let's say a sales team should accrue three points each day. Ideally, by the week's fourth day, they'll have amassed 12 points. However, if they've only gained nine points, their progress is categorized accordingly as off-track.
3. Refresh option for individual components
This update enables users to refresh various components on the dashboard individually, ensuring they're always working with the most up-to-date information. Each component, such as KPIs, Targets, and Games, can be updated with the individual refresh buttons instead of refreshing the entire page via the browser.
4. Enhanced team creation
Creating a team in Motivator has been simplified, especially for larger teams. Rather than selecting users manually, you can now simply select entire roles and/or territories and automatically add all users in those roles or territories at once, making the process more efficient.
5. Hierarchy-based views for users
Previously, when a user was logged in, the "Users" filter for KPIs and Targets showed all users and teams in the organization. We've improved this feature such that the "Users" filter will display either based on the role or reporting hierarchy, depending on what is set in the organization. This will provide a more customized view that aligns with the organization's established structure.
- Users: To make the reporting structure more efficient, we now only show the logged-in user and their subordinates.
- Teams: Similarly, the teams filter will only list the teams of which the logged-in user and their subordinates are part.
6. Additional date granularity
Previously, users were limited to viewing KPI and Target trends on a day-to-day basis. We've now improved this feature to provide a more comprehensive analysis. Users can now analyze and evaluate data over different time frames, such as days, weeks, or months, for components with a duration of a quarter or a year. Additionally, for components with a duration of a month, users can divide the data on either a daily or weekly basis to obtain a comprehensive view of their metrics. This increased level of detail applies to both KPIs and Targets.
That's all for the enhancements in this cut. Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
Thanks!
