Hello everyone,
Here is our final post on the 'Co-trainers' spotlight sub-series.
Today's post focuses on how you (the Trainer or Super Admin) can allow your Co-trainers to take complete control while delivering live sessions. Allow your Co-trainers to plan better agendas using private chat rooms while having personalized one-on-one interactions with individual trainees during a live session.
Conducting successful trainings together with your co-trainers
One of the challenges faced by online trainers is the difficulty in delivering ideas and concepts consistently (and at a standard pace) until the end of a session. Co-trainers on ShowTime can lessen this burden placed on the host by taking complete control over a live session while allowing you (the trainer) to sit back and relax. During the delivery, Co-trainers are given the freedom to share their entire presentation screen to demonstrate workflows, product demos, customer hand-holding, etc. Having multiple presenters for a session also helps participants to get exposed to diverse styles and perspectives of delivery during a lengthy session.
Using trainer's chat room to collaborate with co-trainers in real time
ShowTime aims to assist our trainers in working better as a team by offering a private chat room to plan, discuss, and implement agendas or learning goals for a training session. A private chat room for trainers also ensures the interchange of roles between multiple presenters during an ongoing session and facilitates a seamless exchange of last minute lecture points. This chat room can help the co-trainers discuss and agree on who takes the lead in delivering various parts of a live session or program.
Extending focused attention to participants using a private chat room
A good trainer stimulates learning by bringing out and building on active participation during a training. Showtime offers each of its participants a private chat room to help interact with individual questions more closely with presenters. This private, collaborative space also helps track a trainee's progress throughout a session, respond to their timely questions, and ensure active participation of a bored attendee.
