I am curious as to how to correctly update the version as exposed by the api call in: http://writer.zoho.com/public/help/postsavedoc/fullpage At first glance I thought this was similar to the "upload document" functionality in that a document could be uploaded to replace the version. However, it asks for raw content data, but does not specify the format. Hi, i would like to use phonetic typing(unicode). this can be easily done via simple java script code. is there anyway you could support this by adding a button in the zoho writer and provide user a way to map keystrokes to equivalent unicode character? i prefer to have this feature in Zoho Creator as well. thanks, Sasi

MS Office Plugins: Login failed
I registered for an Zoho Account a few days ago. Today I install the Zoho Plugins f�r MS-Word and Excel (Office 2003). Login access failed ("Authentication Failed. Storage & Flexibility
I am aware that Zoho is linked up with storage people like Omnidrive and Box.net. However, the interface they link to is not complete... you can't post to your blog through that zoho interface (it kept failing on me) and I would assume other zoho features would be in-active. So I am wondering how much 'storage' is available with zoho when not using one of those storage services... is there a gb of space already available at zoho for the average registeree? Also... are there limits on things? Like

I am trying to figure out how to get this to work. I email an attachment to the email address given, and nothing happens. I have waited over 24 hours, and the documents still have not shown up in my document list. Is there something else I need to do? Do I just attach the document to the email? How long should it usually take to show up in Zoho? Thank you.
name change
If I have two tabs open, and I open a document and change its name and save it, the name changes in the left panel of the tab I opened the document up in, but not in the left panel of the other tab, but it does if I do a browser refresh.
Small Improvement !
A Font preview feature will be a good one to have. When all the Fonts are listed, a preview of how actually the font looks will be great. It will be good to see the font name in that font when mouse is moved over the font name.

Folks, Here's a tip on how to rename a document in Zoho Writer. But i have a suggestion as far as having folders in each application, i seem to not to find a function of that sort. having all titles without sorting them in folders is a little cumbersome. printing from Z Writer
baseline to baseline spacing should default to 1.2 times the point size. You seem to be printing 10 pt type, for instancce, with 10 pt 'leading' from one baseline to the next. The result is that descenders from one line interfere with ascenders from the next. Study some typography if you don't know what I mean. rdtietjen

I would like to request you add a direct way to change a document name. As it is, when I want to do it, I have to use Save As to make a new document with the new name, then delete the document with the old name. Every other file system I have ever seen makes it possible to change the name directly in one step.

I have designated a collaborator on a few documents in Writer. One document is around 15,000 words and will not load for either of us. Is there a size limit to Zoho Writer documents, or is this a bug that needs to be worked out?

Print prints screen, not the document
I've had several strange issues with Zoho Writer. Nothing has really bothered me until today when I'm trying to print a document and it prints the screen, not the document. I'm using the preview button, then print. I've tried clicking the print button on the document. And NO I'm not mistakenly using the browser's print feature. This is all within Zoho Writer. Problems emailing to S60 mobile
I tried emailing a document from Zoho writer to my mobile (N95 which in theory can display it). To do this, I tried using my network supplied email account (Orange in uk). The problem: the mail arrives but without the attachment. However, I also have web access to this account (the mobile uses POP) and on the web the attachment is there. If I export the document to a local disk and then use yahoo mail to send it to my Orange a/c, that works. Implication (or so I guess): there is something different
screen refreshes and losing content
Just started trying out Zoho Writer. Thought I'd let you know that after only about 5 minutes of playing with it, twice the screen has refreshed, and I've lost the last few words I typed, and my cursor went back to the top of the page. f11 bug
Here is a bug when I use f11 to maximize the editing space. It has to do with the documents list. I have the regular folders (My Docs, Trash, etc), and also three more at the end that I have created. Everthing works fine when I am in the default editing space. But if I do f11 and am in the top end of the file list, then the bottem folders disappear and I can't access them. So for instance if I am in My Docs and I have f11 on, then the lowest folder that shows up on the docs list is Public Docs, and

Hi there, I read all the Writer Feature Requests for I am looking for the possibility to combine writer and database (merge?). What I try to do is filling standard letters/documents with data which I want to obtain from Zoho DB. The advantage is that I use a lot of standard letters and I do not have to fill in the same data everytime and once filled in the DB correctly prevents me from making type errors. One word describes Zoho Writer - AMAZING! I have only just started using ZW today. Being able to add a plugin for Word 2007 is simply fantastic. Also the fact that now I have a word wrap feature finally available in an online word processor is the last feature present I desperately needed. I have a real problem with how Search works in the editing page. The problem is that Enter is used to search again. When I search for something in the text, usually I want to do some editing on it, and often that involves using the Enter key. So if I have searched and found the text, I have to turn Search off in order to do this.
