Cannot edit in a certain windows
Hi First thank you for the new 3.0. There seems to be some very nice and good aspects in the new version! I though have found an error in the new ZC 3.0 When I click edit in one of my views ZC comes with an error as you can see in the attached! Please help! BR Skouboe
RSS feeds doesn't work
Dear Zoho Creator Team, Since upgrading to 3.0, I can't open my view feeds at single record level. Subscribed Feeds works partially, cause really I can open the subscribed feed tab in my browser and see the entries, however next error message appear when I click over any single entry: Not Found The requested URL /f1ps3online/view/Clasificaci_n_GP2_Feed/record/2120*******0000033779/NAjNN35********qfUbj/ was not found on this server. My "Criteria" function is not working in my views..... is there a technical issue? They were working fine before. I use the same Criteria restrictions all the time, but when I went in to update one of my date restrictions, the system removed the criteria option completely and won't let me add it again. I went to another view and tried to apply some other Criteria Restrictions and it is not recognizing them at all. Any ideas? Thanks, Tanya gazette.tanya
Issues with views
Hi. Please email your reply to: dacker@icfi.com I tried to enter a different address in the "From" bar, but it won't allow changes. My issue is with trying to view all the sites entered into my database once I have saved the changes I made using the "Show/Hide" feature. I did a "Search" to specify a specific time period that I wanted to look at, but now I want to look at all entries over the entire time period. How to create "print" buttons for applications.
It would be cool if Zoho Creator had an automatic or "print" this page/form feature without having to use the browser's print functions for cleaner and more professionally looking print jobs. This could also be useful for printing a mini-report on the various views. rich.nunez

What happened??? I have this view (a list of jobs) with a zoom function to the summary of a record. It worked like a charm but now -since about a week- visitors aren't allowed on the summary page anymore. Who can explain this to me?
control of columns in a vew
Is it possible to control the display of the columns in a view dynamicly? For Example, different users can access the different columns in the same view. User A can only read the name column. But User B can see all the name, phone, email columns. Export to DB and Rep not working
Dear Support I have set up several table to output to DB & Rep., however one table that was working has stopped and the following message is coming up. Upgrades MUST be optional!
I realize this is really a feature request, but ideas seem to get more traction here in the Feedback forum. In the future, developers MUST have the option to port or copy their full applications, data and code, into a ZC upgraded environment; without effecting their "production" applications in the previous version of ZC. Mail sent twice
Hi In my appl. AFB System I have a form that should send an e-mail to "input.PREmail" on update of the fieldname when "PRStatus" = "Assigned". Delete script not working
Hi, The delete script does not seem to work. Whenever I write code in the "success" of delete, I am unable to execute the deletion of a record. The message "Record deleted successfully" never appears whenever there is any script in delete. Also, I tried to just keep a comment instead of code in the delete script, this also brings out the same result. Please let me know if its generic problem or pertains to my application only. Hi ZC Team I simply need to come up with my suggestion/idea for future updates! I think you guys should let the upgrade be eligible! Personally I would upgrade my pivate ZC applications immidiately - simply to give you some feed back on the upgrade! REGEX and Wildcards to specify Variable Criteria?
Hi Wizohoes, Zoho is utterly simple and wonderful to use. And as one goes further trying more challenging stuff.. one realises that: Simple commands become powerful if they can manipulate the 'relevant data'. I was wondering, if there was an updated scripting guide to narrow down Variable 'Criteria' . Wildcards? Regular Expressions within the script? This would help parse text and dates and numbers.. in a far more flexible way, and could give rise to data munching functions as my apps get hungrier
Form's text fields do not remember data
Another problem we're seeing, especially since we can't Import Data as I addressed in a different thread, is that the fields in the form no longer behave like typical HTML text fields, such that the browser remembers the information, and if you have to type the same value in a particular field over and over again, in our case the name of the Swap, you no longer have the option to just type the first few letters and then select the entire text from a list. Invalid Entries Found Message not visible on screen
I have required fields on my form. If the data is missing, and I click SUBMIT, the focus of the form stays at the bottom of the screen and does nothing while the error message, "Invalid Entries Found" is displayed in the middle of the form where it cannot be seen by the user. The user would have to scroll up several screen fulls to see that there was an error message. You should display the "Invalid Entries Found" error message by the submit button where the user can see it. This is a silly bug,
error on changing a field property
Hi there, You people are simply great. Thanks for such a great service. I was trying to change the property of a field from text to lookup. Now, when I am trying to access the application all other forms are available except for the form where I changed the field property. I am getting only blank white space in place of the entire form. I can not delete that form either to create a new form. What should I do to get the old form with or without modification of the field property? If it is impossible,
Date is not displayed correctly
I have imported the data from xl sheet with date format as MM/dd/yyyy (9/30/2009). But after the import, in the Creator it is displayed as 09/30/0009. Is it 2K problem or what? ragavans
Printing Individual records

Problem: Script does no database entries if an error occurs
Problem with creator 3.0 - Script does no database entries when an error occurs. I have a script in Zoho Creator, that does a lot of database-manipulations. I have also a system in it to log the progress, if an error occurs. In the next try, the script starts from here. And I know the specific workflow before the error - even days after using the script. Is there any way to export the summary view one record at a time? For instance, I have a record of a contact, and I'd want to print just that contact's summary view details. The way I first went about it was to set up the main form, so that I could use the name of the contact as a filter in the summary view. Automated application action
Is it possible to script a routine or action that runs daily without tying it to a form add or update? I have a form that is populated with name, email addresses and a notification date. I would like ZC to automatically run a routine each day to iterate through the records and compare todays date with the notification date and if they equal then execute a sendmail script to notify the person. Optimal Field Update Method
I currently have three forms/views. Form1/View1: This contains global variables that certain users have access to change. Form2/View2: This contains global constants that only me the administrator has access to change. Form3 is where it gets a little interesting.. Edit and View Options in List view
Zoho Creator 3.0 really brings in exciting possibilities for creating powerful applications. In the list view, against each record we get three columns: a selection box, 'Edit' amd 'View'. Now my suggesiton is, is it possible that the 'Edit' and 'View' options appear at top menu rather than against each redord? Only selection box can remain. One can select the record to be edited or viewed, and then from menu select either 'edit' or 'view'. Right now for deleting records similar provisoin exists.
