I am new to Zoho, and I found it is a solution to my database problems, and I think it is really good. Criteria for look up fields
Hi I have two criterias for my look up fields which i added in when i created the lookup values = db.Projects[(Status == "[1] Closed" || Status == "[2]On-Going")].Project_Name But now when i go to script for the form, i can save. It says Error modifying the page Encountered "[" at line 10, column 22. Was expecting one of: ... "displayname" ... "type" ... "tooltip" ... "values" ... ... "isprivate" ... "private" ... ";" ... "on" ... ")" ... HELP! Coz that means i cant script this form at all!
export and import data with multiline texts
I'm trying to move one form from one app to another. So I duplicated the app, and exported the data from the original form to a tsv file. Then I import this into the new duplicated form, only to find all the data jumbled up. I think it's the multiline text fields that are causing the problem. By multiline I mean having a line break within one text box. By meticulously removing these breaks I could make the import work, but it's a horrendously tedious work to do this for all my records. Basic Organization of Forms in an Application
I could use a little feedback to help understand the basics of what elements one should typically expect to see after developing a well designed application in ZC. The question comes from trying to envision the concept that each form is itself a database, even if the sole purpose of some forms is to maintain another form. I just tried it on my treo650 and none of my scripts work. Is it just not compatible on blazer? I've also tried it on my ipod touch and the scripts don't work there either.

"skip this column" option when creating an app.
When creating a new application from zero, importing a file, could be useful to have an option "skip this column" or similar, in the same way you can choose which type of field, each column, will be. Just to don't import a particular column. (this because if you are coping and pasting, for example a txt file separated by tabs, it's impossible to make this selection outside zoho creator)

JSON Feeds returning error "// Error occured while fetching
Some of my JSON feeds work just fine, while others (sadly, the ones I need to most for my Web site) repeatedly return "// Error occured while fetching data. Your data is safe." Is there something in my application that might be causing errors, or is this a problem on Zoho's end? I've reported this in the past, and was told that this was (at the time) due to a problem with the multi-select field I am using. Is this still causing problems with the JSON feeds? Should I consider switching to checkboxes
URL field too short
The URL field in Creator only allows 255 characters. I broke it on the one of the first URL I tried to insert. This have a limit based on how long URLs can be (2k?). Otherwise there are a lot of URLS that it can't be used for. This also does not make sense because you can add more than 255 to a regulator single line field and use it as a url bob

Hello zoho creator people I'm trying to develop an application in zoho creator but I'm running into problems that seem to have no solution. First I've a database that I've uploaded into zoho creator which was not easy because of the date format (I've tried three times before all dates came in, in good order). view based on two or more combined picklist fields
how can i create a view where values from two different picklists (which import data from the same field) in the same form are combined so that i am able to filter one picklist to see all records for a particular data. Example i want to make a quotation form where i quote for two or more items and the items are imported from the items form. Criteria checkbox.contains() changes field value in view
If a checkbox field contains multiple selections, for example "AAA,BBB,CCC", and a view is created with criteria Checkbox.contains("BBB") , then the value listed for the checkbox field in the view will always be "BBB". It should obviously be "AAA,BBB,CCC" (or whatever combination of checkboxes are selected). An auto-filter on the checkbox field does the same thing, for example if you select "CCC" from the filter drop-down then fields containing "CCC" and other values will be listed as "CCC". Also

I"m getting this error while saving one part of my script without having modified it : I'ts a "on add" script on a lookup field linked to another form. It uses the data of one form to calculate the results of this form. the script works but I can't modify it anymore or even saving it without modifying it at all.
