Dependent field for a Lead in CRM.
As I am entering Lead info (for example the state they live) is there any way to auto populate another field (information about the state the reside)?
Quote Template - No Totals?
When we try and generate a quote, there are no totals showing - only the line items. The totals show on the screen, but not on a pdf or print view. What do we reckon chaps?
CRM Email Sort not working right

Help Needed - Workflow Rule and ALert Creation
I want to set up a rule so that when the Close Date of a Potential reaches the Current date the Salesperson handling the opportunity/potential gets a task reminder and an e-mail directing them to update infrormation in the opportunity/potential record. For Example: Potential Closing Date = 4/6/09 Today's Date = 4/6/09 Workflow triggers an e-mail alert to the salesperson and places a task on their task list. How do I do this? web-to-ticket problems
I am having a number of problems with the web-to-ticket functionality. Initially I successfully created a form and got that on my website. When I entered details they didn't turn up in the Support Approval list. Thinking that I might have set up the form incorrectly I deleted it and went to recreate it. When I say the form it takes me to a blank page and if I go back the form has not been created. Any ideas? Thanks Neil
Unable to add email to contact in Zoho CRM using Outlook plugin in Windows 7
I am unable to add any emails in outlook 2007 to zoho CRM contacts using the plugin under Windows 7. I get the message "Error while adding message to Zoho CRM" Is Windows 7 supported or not?

Workflow tasks are falling on non-work days
Is there a place where I can specify the days of a work week, and then have workflow follow that rule when it creates workflow tasks? Right now some of my workflow tasks are falling on weekends. Not a big deal, but inconvenient. Thanks.
Web-to-lead form, validate email
We have implemented a web-to-lead form on a landing page. Instead of forcing users to re-enter their email address (who likes to do that?) we just have them enter it once. Is there a webservice you can recommend that can determine whether the email enter is a valid email address? Thanks.
Archiving/Backing up
Im curiuos about several things. 1. If I wanted to export say my contacts including all the information related to that contact such as invoices, sales orders,notes and most importantly attachments. How would I achieve that? Simply downloading the attachtments to the PC is not an option as it does not keep things a streamline in Zoho.. we will just be reverting to our original problem of organising all of our contacts and the relevent information that goes with them.. Mail plug-in missing one big thing
As with many people, I use Gmail and have started to use new plug-in - but it misses one major issue, linking Gmail emails to sent Leads and Contacts. It works fairly well on received emails (using POP to pull emails into the zoho system) but all the emails that I have sent via gmail (and are also pulled over usine POP) do not link to the recipient. Is there a way to link these emails to the Leads or Contacts - even manually, as with the Outlook Plug-in? I can obviously send from within Zoho but
Can't log in to CRM
I have had a CRM account for some time. Now I can't login. I get a window telling me to sign up. When I enter the email address that I used to establish my account it tells me I have to use another address.
Zoho Maill Add-On Requests
Really like the Mail Add-On and wanted to start a thread with feature requests for this offering: In no particular order: Allow complete view of emails sent and received by all users - instead of having to select a user one at a time Allow the attachment of emails not associated by email address to a specific lead/contact etc. - I.E. internal communication about a lead/potential, emails from 3rd parties about lead/potential, etc. Please feel free to add. Zoho Mail Add-On
Hi I have just started testing the Add-On and I must say it seems to be working just as expected with a few exceptions. The most notable for me is (cause I am lazy) for instance is under the lead module there is not a complete view of all emails sent and received one must switch between: Sent Emails from CRM and The specific public user Am I missing something or is that just the way it has to be? Deactivate User(s)
Hello Has anyone deactivated users and what happens when that occurs? Does one need to change ownership of leads, contact, etc? Does the activity of the deactivated user get deleted from the contacts, such as emails sent etc? If ownership is not changed and other are of the same profile level or above can they see and manage information that was assigned to the deactivated user? Do not have administrator rights
I have recently signed up for Zoho and I have been able to login with no problems at all. However, I would like to add others users to my account and to do this, I need administrator rights. However I am the only user in my account (I opened the account and I am using the user that I opened the account with) and I do not have administrative rights. How do I either: a) Add a user with Administrative rights to my account b) Change my account to have Administrative rights Just to clarify there are

SSO Bug
I have my own CRM and was showing a colleague how to use her own CRM system and added my POP3 user ID to her documents group so that I could show her how documents sharing works, however i was then not able to log into my documents area. So when she removed me as a user from her documents group it then made my personal CRM account totally inactive. I can now not log into my CRM as the user has been deleted. On top of that I have now lost all 600 of my work emails which are not retrievable !!!
Questions regarding invoice export format, standard dates and non-stock products
How to use auto dates when creating invoice? Invoice date should be today's date, expire date according to the payment terms Is it possible to export invoices in .xlm. If so, how to do? How should I do to see my own sales (=invoiced ammount) /monthly/annually/totally on the dash? We are selling ads on internet and have no stock or stock quantity. Therefore system warns for no product in stock. How to solve this? I use Zoho CRM business Thank you!

problems importing leads in CRM
I am trying to import a very small xls file into CRM and it just sits for hours saying "uploading file" but it never uploads. I have tried it with csv and same problem. Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Time to show a preview of the small visual update for all detailed views in all modules. To improve readability and maintain a "clear" visual we removed all colors. The group headers will be "BOLD" and black in color. The labels will be in Gray and "Required fields" will be in BOLD Gray. Page layout drag and drop is broken.
I've used the drag and drop layout organizer awhile ago and it worked fine. Today i needed to add some product fields and rearrange some. So i went to the Products settings and open the "Edit Page Layout" page and tried to drag available fields into the page layout. They would drag but not stick to the page. Dragging fields from the page to the available fields area and rearranging fields already on the page works in FF but not in IE. Dragging from the "Available fields" box does not work in

Hi My work flow triggers are not doing what I need them to do; is there a way to trigger a work flow event when a specific field changes to a predefined value? I have a work flow monitoring a new field called Evaluation Stage - when it sees a specific stage, say "Evaluation email 2 sent", it sets up some tasks and sends me an update email. - Fantastic, it works perfectly. Publishing Filtered Zoho CRM sheets
First, I'm really liking Zoho CRM, but I'm having a lot of trouble trying to figure out a way to embed filtered results from the Leads module. I can make it into sheet, but the sheet has no "embed" option. Maybe I'm just going blind, but the Sheet only has the top toolbar with the "Save" and "Paintbucket" and a bottom bar with the "new sheet" option. How do I embed these CRM sheets, and will they keep updating based on this filter rules as new leads come in? I attached a screenshot of my Zoho sheet

Limitation on date fields in potential
Hi We are using customised fields within a potential to track cerain activity. However when I get to 10 it does not allow anymore. We have some fairly complex procedures we need to adhere to and I have always found the easiest way manage a "checklist" is to entered the date when certain "steps" within that procedure is completed. Am I right in saying that no history is created when fields are updated? This makes an acknowledgement of when a "step" is completed all the more important. Please advise
Task notification email
Hi, I hope somebody can help please! This is my first post so forgive me if I have approached it in the wrong way. When assigning an activity to another person and issuing an email notification to that individual, the email that they receive starts with 'dear' and then the name of the person who assigned the task, NOT the person who the task has been assigned to. Is there a easy way to change templates for offers and bills?
I'm testing zoho crm for my company in germany. If I print offers or bills with the "quote template", it doesn't show optimal. The layout is good for a internet shop in UK or US, but not for a service company in germany. The main problem, is it not a letter format (DIN A 4). Sure, i can make a new template for myself. But is not easy and needs time. Are they another template, at least as a letter format? Thanks, Sascha
