Is there any way to sync with Outlook automatically on a given schedule? Can an email in Outlook be added to a case? Thanks jh jhilkey

Has anyone already mentioned how absolutely wonderful it would be if we could map the Outlook "categories" field to a field in Zoho CRM when syncing? Furthermore, maybe have the option to customize field mapping when synchronizing from Outlook to Zoho? James Bowie

Stage descriptions
After creating a new Potential in an Account, we can edit this Potential and set different Stages in time. But I would like to keep the date and description of all the contacts made with the account during the evolutions of the stages... How can I do it? P.e.: 25 SET 2008 - "Phone call to secretary. Obtained cell phone of John Smith. He's the one who may be interested in product. Contact him in 3 October." 3 OCT 2008 - "Contact made with John Smith. Interested in a meeting to see product." 10 OCT
Contact roles bug?
THIS "BUG" IS RELATED TO B2C CUSTOMIZATIONS ONLY 1. I create an opportunity 2. I try to add "contact roles" to this opportunity 3. No contacts are found :( 4. Now I go inside a "Contact" 5. I link this contact to an "Account". 6. I go back to the opportunity, link it to the account 7. I can now add the "Contact Roles" ----> Therefore, the "bug" is that under a B2C use of Zoho CRM it is impossible to use the Contact Roles as is. Any workarounds?

"You cannot create more than 50 Text Custom Fields" Struggling to create a lookup field for the Notes view (Lookups don't appear to work) I stumbled on another bug. CRM complains "You cannot create more than 50 Text Custom Fields" So I deleted one. That should mean that I now have 49, right? Wrong. I got the same error after deleting a text field and then trying to create a new one. "Next" Arrow jumps to random alphabet
I noticed that every time I press the "next page"-arrow (for instance in the Accounts module) - although my view is "All Accounts" - the page jumps to some random alphabetical letter causing the output to be < no Accounts found >. So each time I have to click "All" and try again. Then it works... This happens in every module. Regards, Eleonore
Sharing my Calendar
Is there a way to share my calendar with my junior sales person so that she can view my calendar and schedule appointments with prospects? She should be able to view available time slots and have the necessary permissions to fill those slots. Chandresh
lead problems
One of my collegues is having issues when setting up leads. He cannot enter a company name in the compulsary field dispite being able to do this previously. Also, he cannot send emails from within leads dispite being able to do this previously. Can you help. John Moore

Not really sure if this is a real bug, or just confusing design. In the Leads module when looking at Converted Leads and I click on a Lead Name the following message appears: Oops !!! Back-buttons
When in an Account's details page it would be practical to have a 'Back' button that brings one back to the previous listing page. Right now one has to click again on "Account" which brings back to the first page, but not necessarily to the previous page.

need help tracking multiple campaign responses
I am looking for suggestions about how to handle a problem. We have a raw mailing list of about 3,000 people. We're not importing them all as leads yet. We are mailing all 3,000 people something every month this year. Mostly they will receive a postcard, or an envelope containing a gift certificate voucher. To register for the gift they are directed to a Web page (a different page/form for each mailing). When they fill out the form (a Web-to-Lead form) they become a Lead in Zoho CRM. We have added

I sent an email and then cked the 'email content' in Zoho after sending. I saw: My message ... And then this! ${User.First Name} ${User.Last Name} ${User.Email} ${Organization.Organization Name} I freaked! I sent a test email to myself to see if this was a new bug but the fields were populated properly, thank goodness. Web to Lead _ Salutation
In a previous support ticket (#2017790) I had received a fix for the salutation field in web to lead. "Sorry about that. Its our bug. We will definitely fix this in our next update. In the meanwhile, as a workaround, kindly replace the field name "Salutation" (ie., you have to replace the <input type="text" name="Salutation".. to <input type="text" name="saltName"..)in your web form to "saltName" and then try creating the lead. It will work. Kindly try it and let us know." This worked for a while

Validating Fields in Web to Lead
Has anyone found a way to validate form field requirements (i.e. required fields, data types, etc) in web to lead. I have set the required validations in the form script and it works fine if I have the form handler email me the results, all validations are performed prior to emailing me the results on submit. However, when I replace the form action with the web to lead script, the validation does not happen. Is anyone else having this problem?

still persistent synching error problems with outlook plugin
We're still getting persistent synching problems and the Zoho pluging is NOT telling us how to fix it or allowing us to accept all errors and continue... Synching is a very time consuming and frustrating process. dgdlux

How do I change field names? We don't use ZIPs we use Post Codes, We don't talk about Mailing or State and this is a business app so I don't care about birthdates and so on. How do I rename/get rid off these fields? And why isn't such a key start-up job obvious? Brian Smith
Web to Lead - Broken again?
Hello, I've just noticed an issue with the Web to Lead feature. This might be a configuration issue on my side. Not sure. I have not changed anything for months. The email confirmations are working correctly but the lead data is not getting stored to the CRM DB. Ugg! Web-to-Lead
We have started to use Web-to-Lead and have two questions: 1. Is there a way to see the leads that need to be approved when you logon on to the Zoho CRM without having to go to the Setup>Approve Leads? I'd like to ad it to the HOME Tab. 2. Is there a way to add spam proofing software to validate the entry so a webot can't just keep submitting the form? Either we can use a 3rd party software or Zoho CRM can add that as an add-in. Can't change contact to none
I have a potential lead. I have the wrong contact associated with this potential opportunity but I am unable to delete the contact associated with it. Does anyone know how to delete contact from a potential lead. Thanks, David David Levitt

When using ZOHO SHEET VIEW for Contact, I am not able to update a column i have called Actual Date in Text. When I type for example 9 October 2008, it appears as 10/09/08. Why is this? but if I were to go individually and correct the contact it is ok. simheswara
