Related To in Tasks defaulting to Vendors
The default lookup for the 'Related To' field in 'New Task' is defaulting to 'Vendors'. Previously this defaulted to 'Accounts' and this is our preferred option. Not understanding why the change took place. Any suggestions on how to restore this default?
Mass updating a contact's "Account"
Hi, I see there is a way to mass update almost everything except "Account name." I am using the CRM version and Campaign to manage communications between groups of my contacts. One report Clients and leads together
Hello, I hope any one can help me. We are normaly working with leads, but recently also with clients. I have a field that says 'newsletter yes/no'. Live Support
One Reason why we decided for Zoho, was the Live Chat Support wich was available when we tested it. Now we purchased and the Live Support is gone. This is very poor. I did not find any word about the fact that Live Support is only available durning the Pre-Sales Testing.
Email customers by Product usage
We have a number of (software) Products and we add these to each customer account as they buy to keep the record accurate. Sometimes we have offers or upgrades and so we want to be able to create a list of customers who have a particular product and then mail them. But Product is not in the criteria list for Campaigns or mass emails, it appears, so how do we do this?
Funnel or Pipeline from lead to sale
I want to be able to track my pipeline or funnel with a conversion rate from Lead to a closed sale (including the different stages of the contact or potential). I can't find a way to group leads and contacts (or potentials) so that I can visualize a report with this pipeline. It seems I have to have a report for leads and a separate one for contacts. Zoho CRM has become bery slow even freezing the browser window while calling up menu functions
Very bad when trying to customize a report that almost certainly freezes the window. We are using Chrome and Firefox in most recent versions and both seems to have the same result. Other online apps such as GMail are not affected so Internet is not the issue. Can you please review and help this out. This issue is dragging on for weeks and exhausting us by the day. Identifying Existing Account from a New CSV list
I typically work with small lists that I copy and paste account name into search to see if it exists already in our ZOHO crm before I choose which ones to mass import. My problem now is that I just received a large list of prospects. Is there a way to have crm do a mass search to let me know which companies already exist in our CRM? Should I break it into group of say 100 to import and choose "skip" when importing? If I choose "skip" option when importing, will crm provide me with a list of which

Export in other than iso 8859 1
Hi Zoho team, Please kindly build an option where we can choose what kind of export we want for our Leads/Accounts. iso 8859 1 is a very old charset. If you could use UTF-8 (UTF-16) it would save us all alot. New User / Basic Question
I apologize for this question in advance, as it will sound pretty dumb to most, but I'm new to using a CRM and am having difficulty understanding all the "slots" where items should be placed. If I sell thru a distributor, and my distributor reps are bringing me opportunities at accounts (companies), who is the lead? Is it the distributor rep or the contact at the account? How do I categorize this type of structure? My distributor reps bring me many "leads" at new accounts and new opportunities

I created a meeting invite in CRM and then sync'd the meeting invite with Outlook before sending it out to the 4 participants. Each participant responded but I am now getting repeated notifications from one of the participants (at least 20) that he has accepted. How can I stop these notifications from coming through?

How to identify Zoho CRM contacts that have not had an activity in the last 6 months
I am using Zoho CRM Professional Edition and am trying to find a way for the system to help me identify which contacts I should proactively contact as I have not had a recent interaction with them. I have tried to create a report showing contacts who's last activity (i.e. call/event) is greater than x months ago (i.e. 6 months) but can't workout how to specify this criteria. Hi; I'm in the process of migrating CRM data from our previous CRM to Zoho CRM. I'm currently trying to migrate Account information. I manage to get the Account records created, with correct info and correct dates, however there are two things not working as expected: Account Owner Id: It always is set as the Adminitrator Id, regardless of the Account Owner Id that is specified in the CSV migration file. Emails produced by ZOHO CRM
Hi, When I send an email from ZOHO CRM, the recipient sees my first name, surname and my email address. I don't want my user name associated with the emails sent, I would like it to list my companies name, not my name. I have had to change my user name to the companies name to get around this so far. More button and reordering menu is annoying
I have room to show about 20 modules on my menu bar, yet only 7 show up with a More... button. I would rather see as many modules as possible without clicking the More button. Also, I find it infuriating that the order of menu items constantly changes based on frequency of use. Why not let us just reorder it in a way that works for us - I'm constantly hunting to find the module I want to use. I love the quick add feature. I find it helps me work much more efficeintly. However, the order of the fields in the Quick Add Contact dialog box does not flow logically (in my eyes). I have started to use Zoho CRM Professional Edition for my own home based business and Love it! I have loaded around 300 contacts (customers) so far and am sure the number will double in the next year. I would appreciate some suggestions/tips on how people keep contact information current in Zoho CRM?
