Why there is no worflow alert when a element is deleted ? It could be very usefull.. thanks
Imported Google calendar -- now cannot edit
I imported my Google calendar into Zoho CRM, and cannot delete or edit anything there. I have sent many, many, many requests to "support", begging for help. No one has been able to undo the import. This makes my Zoho CRM calendar unusable and unreliable. Any Zoho geniuses out there that could help me out? Aloha, Phyllis
Inventory Templates - Letterhead
Hi - I've managed to create a quote using the HTML section of the template editor but can't for the life of me work out how to put an image into the HTML code so that when it exports to PDF, it keeps the image at the bottom of the page regardless of how much text is on the page. The reason that I want to do this is so that it exports on my company letterhead.
Can I substract dates on custom created reports?
Is there a way to substract dates, for example Due date - Created date of a potential? Thanks Maria
Formula Help, sending me mad
I want to write a simple formula i have two fields that i need to add together in CRM cases. I am trying to create a custom formula field that adds these fields up I enter ${Cases.Administration Fee}+${Cases.Final Duties Fee} I recieve the error Formula Custom Fields not allowed in expression Can anyone show me the correct way to write this formula Thanks Chris
How to add contact column on open tasks
When viewing the open tasks ie on the home page, I don't really need the priority column, but would rather have a contact column so that I know who the contact is that the task belongs to. For example, I may have FU on last email, as the subject for several tasks, but would have a better idea of the relevance or time to call a person, and thus would like to be able to view the contact name right there.
Task Status disappears in views
Hi, I am trying to create a view that filters out completed tasks and only shows in progress, not started, etc. However, when I edit the view and add the filter for status, the view displays all entries and the status column is completely empty. Any ideas? thank you, Silke
IMAP Capability
Whilst researching email account set up for an existing client who uses an IMAP email system (Zimbra) we realised that you massively restrict email using by using POP email. We cannot recommend to our client that they separate out their email storage to an IMAP system (which gives them universal access, desk-top, webmail, and smartphone) and a web based POP system that then means they might only see a client response not on their smartphone but on Zoho when they next logon. Is it possible to modify field types of mandatory fields?
Hi, Some fields such as address, city, country are mandatory fields and I can't modify their types since they are fixed to text type. Unfortunately, many of our sales guys make stupid mistakes when typing city names; therefore, I would like to switch these text fields to combo lists in order to avoid these mistakes. Is this possible to do? If it is not possible, I would like to know how I can create a new field value which can be seen by other modules. For instance, I would like to create a new city
Map Dependency Field
Hi, I tried to map dependency fields between 3 picklists. It works from the first picklist to second but not from second to third. The multi level selections were link in the following manner: Industry > Industry Sub > Industry Sub 1. Industry Sub 1 seems to display all values whatever selections I made to 'Industry' even though the dependency was connected only between Industry Sub and Industry Sub 1. Which means, the tier override the second mapping.

CRM - How do you merge contacts?
Hi, how do I merge duplicate contacts? Situation is: 1. I had a list of contacts in Zoho CRM. 2. I purchased the paid version because it has Google Contacts and Calendar Sync. 3. When I did a Sync from Google Contacts to Zoho it created a whole bunch of duplicates ... Also it imported everyone! Not just the contacts from the google contacts 'group' I had selected. The sync is set to daily. I don't want a whole new list of contacts every day. Joel
What skype rates are applicable for calling in India
We are a company based in India. When we click on phone number of a contact, it goes for dialing through skype. Our query is what charges of skype will be applicable, as the number visible in caller ID is showing country code other than that of India.
Forecasting by Sales Region
I want to be able to run a Sales Forecast that has a column (custom field) of the sales region. That way I can see the company number, but quickly parse out what regions are delivering. I have tried doing this and can not figure it out, is it possible? Thanks!
Importing Contacts where Account Name is non-unique
I'm trying to import Account and Contact data. We have many Accounts where it's the same company name but different sites (eg "Acme Ltd" with branches in Birmingham, London and Leeds). We need to import Contacts, and have them associated with the correct branch Account - but the Contact Import facility only seems to allow associating them by Account Name. How can we do this? We do have additional unique index key data for each Account in our import data, and the Contacts import data references this
Google Voice integration?
I'm new at ZohoCRM and I am in the process of evaluating it as a replacement of my ACT software. I've noticed that it works well with Skype but I would like it to work with Google Voice instead. I admit I haven't spent much time with it but I do not know if this is currently a supported feature. I've seen a post that Google Chrome has an extension that will work with it. Is anyone aware of this? If so could you explain how you set it up and how it is working for you. Thanks, Rob

How about a feature that would allow you to use Google Voice to call contacts from your desktop/CRM? Navigate to Contact -> Click Phone Number -> Click "Call using Google Voice".
How can I have the phone links open google voice in chrome -- instead of Skype
I don't use skype, but do have google chrome with google voice plugin. For more other sites, when there is a phone number, there is a hot link which then allows me to call with google voice. It looks like this is being overridden with Skype. How do I change that?
I don't think the comma (,) is necessary
Hi: If I create a View, shows a column which has Integer value, (in my case, it is product number from one of my provider), but it shows the number with comma. It doesn't make sense, if I need comma to show, I will use field type as: Currency. I notice the value shows correctly without comma in the detail form, that is what I like to see. Importing accounts etc won't associate to proper user for some reason?
Hey everyone, not sure what I'm doing wrong. We use Google Apps so all my users are user@mycompany.com which I've set up through Google apps and then they have usernames like user1, user2 etc. I'm trying to import from Dynamics CRM but no matter what I use for Assigned To, it always assigns to myself. I've tried using full email like it says for the user, that doesn't work. I've tried user name, first name, last name, full name, it always assigns it to myself for some reason. Everything else

What fields are used as unique ID for CRM records? For example I have an Excel spreadsheet with this information/fields: Company First Last Email LeadStatus Phone Notes/Comments Temperature Sales$$ #Emp Website Should this information first be imported into Leads? Or should the Excel data be broken up with matching unique ID and imported separately into Leads, Accounts, Contacts separately using the unique ID to relate the records? What does ZOHO CRM use to unique ID key.

Change Passwords After Employees Leave
I have administrator profile status in the CRM. An employee just left and I need to change their Password without deleting the profile and recreating it. How do I do this???? I do not know the current password because it was changed to a personal one by another admin who doesnt remember what it was.

Contact form working in local, but not online
Hi, I have a contact form posting datas to https://support.zoho.com/support/WebToCase (action="..") Everything works fine with it, even from my server. My contacts are saved. But, I have another form posting datas to https://crm.zoho.com/crm/WebToLeadForm. In that case, contacts are saved if posted from my computer, in local. But if I put the form on my (same) server, nothing happens ... Maybe Zoho server refuses posted datas from my server's IP ? Why in one case and not another ? And why the destinations

Information Lost between lead and becoming a potential/client
After I upload a lead, our sales rep goes in and sends emails and puts in notes for the lead. Once they designate that lead as a "potential" and an account is created, we lose the "notes" and "emails sent" information that the rep had put in. I've tried the mapping, but cannot seem to find where to make sure all of the lead information gets transferred to their potential and account information entirely.

Can we know what is on the anvil for next release and when the same is expected? We are actually very eager to know what's coming up and how many of our request are being considered...

Hi there! I tried searching but didn't find a thread on this. Could you make sticky notes? I have worked with other database programs which allow you to create a floating note which can be pasted anywhere within a given pain of the online CRM. This allows you to make important notes easily visible to other users if they access your contact - like preferences of address (Mr. Smith vs. John). Pick List Dependency not correcting when changed
Hi there! I have created several Pick List Dependencies, and I find them wonderfully useful. However, I am running into a bit of a snag: I need to create a custom field dependency in which several values in the parent field generate no response in the child field. Good, that's working. Now, all other values in the parent field need to select the one field value I entered. This is not working. The child field does not change no mater what I select in the parent field. I have examined my other dependencies

I am a new user. To send an email I have clicked on contacts email address and that opens up outlook and then I compose and send email. How do I make this email also get stored in contact record under emails? Thanks for any suggestions!

Currently, I can only see the most recent note in the Potentials module. Is there a way to see multiple notes entries in the body entries into the body of the Prospect Module?
