I am trying to send emails, but most times, the email button does not work. I am using the Free version, but I have sent 3-4 emails before. Can anyone tell me why it is not working now?

Is there any way to change the username field? It seems you can edit everything else but that.
Free Zoho CRM & admin
Hi - I would like to try out Zoho CRM...the free version. There are 3 of us who need to collaborate on a project. Is there a way that I can restrict 1 user to a part of our "leads"? Or can I create more that one leads list? I think one way around this is to create an "account" for 1 user and in there you can add contacts. But if the contacts in that account are the same people in the "leads" will the information merge or be kept separate? Thanks! Michele

Feature Query: Prevent display of a module's fields based on user type
Hello, I'm building a CRM abomination that needs to represent more than one person's confirmation that a lead can be turned into an account. To enforce independence, I need to prevent certain user groups (e.g. standard) from being able to view or edit a field in the leads module, but the privileged users ( administrators) to be able to see and edit it. is this possible?

Mass mail to list of emails
Dear Zoho CRM Team, We have a list of emails of our potential customers and would like to send them our quotes, but we don't want to create leads/potentials for each of them. Is it possible somehow to send our quotes to them using some functionality of Zoho CRM? Just a plain email, but to hundreds of recipients? Is it's not possible then question is how to do that for our already registered customers? I see Campaigns menu in CRM, but can't find there any way to send mail with attachments, for example.
Can you link Subsidiaries to the Parent Corporation?
I work with thousands of companies that all link to various parent corporations. Does ZOHO have a way to link companies to the parent corporation record? I have looked around and can't find it. I might implement a work around. Michael Kokernak

web-to-lead and special characters
Hi, In my web-to-lead forms, when a user enters text into a text field any special characters such as an apostrophe, the content after that special character is not passed into the Zoho database. Any reason/ solution for this? Thanks, Dustin
When editing a potential's stage, modifications to stages are not reflected. (New Edition)
In the "New Edition" of Zoho CRM. When I go to edit a Potential's stage, I click edit, which reveals the drop-down of stage options. However, there are two problems: 1. Stages I have created beyond the defaults appear in the drop-down as blank. 2. Stages whose names I have modified appear with their default values. (See first screenshot.) Exception: the current stage is reflected correctly. This problem does not appear when editing Potentials in the "Old Version" (See second attached screenshot.)
Sending form data to CRM and email from SUBMIT
When a user clicks submit I would like to use the web-to lead function of Zoho CRM but also have the form info sent to a specified email. How can I tell a form to do both? The reason for this is because the Web-to-Lead form only collects limited information but I need more information from my leads. This way I could have the lead go to my CRM and look in my inbox for the additional info.

Leads converting to Potentials, Accounts and Contacts - I only want Potentials
All I want in my Tabs are Leads, Clients (converted leads), Contact (non-client contacts). However, when I convert a Lead, it converts to Accounts, Potentials (my Clients tab), and Contacts. Is there a way to just make it go to Potentials (and maybe Accounts)? Thanks Damien
List Price issue
I really don't like this list price/unit price garbage since they don't reflect what the natural meanings are for US users. List price is the price that a manufacturer suggests people charge as in MSRP. Nobody actually charges this price and fewer then nobody wants to pay it. But I digress. I'm importing products for my 3rd time and there is no place to import a list price in my form. Unit price is there but no list price. I go to create new product and there's no field for list price there
exporting account information associated with CONTACTS
I am trying to export my contacts to a spreadsheet so that I can share it with a third party that provides our company with Net Promoter Scoring for customer service. The export view for contacts doesn't provide company address or any options for custom fields for this report. I remember seeing this posted 4 years ago and can't understand why the contacts address can't be included in an export report. Couldn't find anything in the CRM help center. Ken

Site Crash?
After using the site for about an hour and a half everything crashed. the site will load everything but my information. every time i try to acess my previous activities or open any of my tabs the site gives me the "unable to process your request, click here to go back" message. I have been using the free version of Zoho without any problems so far but obviously this is a pretty big hangup! I have calls to make and have invested quite a bit of information into zoho and now i cannot acess it.
Modifying Fields
I added fields to LEADS, but didnt add them to CONTACTS or ACCOUNTS etc. Now I want to go back and add them? Is it possible to do this? Also, if I want to modify the Date Type of a field, can this be done without deleting all the current information? Thanks Damien

I would like to be able to a mass email to the contacts we now have in our Zoho CRM. I have been reading the forums and am now very confused ! Do I need any extra module to be able to do this ? I have created an email template under the "account" module an inserted a number of merge field from the account. Only problem is I can't open and use the template anywhere. I can't send an email from an account and if I go into the contact, the email template doesn't appear. Can you tell me where I can open and use it?
