Task and Event History in Contact View
When i create a task or an event when I am in a contact record, there is no history of this action when I am looking at the contact record again. How can I customize this CRM so it shows all the actions taken with a lead, or a contact, when I am looking at their info? :?
Exporting 'Comments' from Google Docs Spreadsheet onto Zoho CRM
We currently have over 1800 rows of records on Google Docs Spreadsheet. We have been using GDocs Spreadsheet a while now to input all of our client details, including their sales notes in the 'Comment' boxes. We're looking to move from GDocs Spreadsheet to Zoho CRM and I was wondering how to export all of the records on GDocs Spreadsheet into Zoho CRM WITH the comments in the 'Comment' boxes. These comments should go into their corresponding record/leads' 'Note' section in Zoho CRM. Many thanks!
Using email and templates from CRM
I would like to send an email out to accounts/contact that makes and confirms ( where required) an appointment. This email I would like to based on a template for the specific message and to record day, date, time of the appointment and details for the visit, and possible other information such as contact person (account owner ?) for call back. It seems that the most efficient way of doing this would be to create a task ( for me to do) which provides visibility for me in the CRM and at the same
number of users
I have just signed up for the trial of CRM. If I decide to also use Project, can have a different number of users for it than I do for the CRM? My sales people do not get involved the the project once the sale is made. I would want all of the staff on CRM but not all on the Project, *Would love to hear how others comments. Maybe sales should see the project's progress. Right now we have three different solutions for support tickets, projects and crm. I am so over it.

Products page show accounts
I want my sales force to be able to go to the products section and be able to see a list of accounts that are using a particular product that they are discussing with someone. This means that the query for the section needs to be that the account is set to 'Customer' in order to filter out Potentials and that the product needs to match the product the sales person is looking at. At least that is what I think it needs to query. I am new to Zoho and appreciate the help.
Multiple CRM Accounts
Dealing with Support has been challenging to say the least so I thought I'd post to the community and see if anyone can help. Mass Email Record?
Since Zoho only allows 250 emails per day in a mass mailing, how do I know which 250 people received the email? Thanks! Kathleen
Name Format puctuation
Could you add a punctuation option to the Name Format I use last name salutation first name. But most records don't have a salutation so it comes out looking like a normal name. Allen Peter comes out looking like Peter Allen not Peter, Allen. Thanks

Hello, I`ve got the Zoho CRM Mail-Add on. I`ve properly configured a custom pop smtp account for my businesses' email address and it works fine when I`m sending mail from the Zoho Mail UI. All mail arrives to recipients where the From: is listed as Firstname Lastname <name@email.com>. BUT When I attempt to send an email from the CRM inside a lead under the 'emails' section, the email arrives simply as <name@email.com> I'm pretty sure everything is configured right so if anyone else has had this problem
Lead Assignment Rule

Usability Suggestions
After working on a number of record updates the last two days I find that it would be very convenient to have the default Calendar for each filed open to the current date. I find that if I click on a data field that has an existing date the Calendar opens to that date as well. It is very annoying to have to pick a new date by scrolling through calendar from that date. Another feature that would save a lot of time for me is the ability to associate events with multiple potentials and multiple contacts
How to make a field unique? If possible
I am sure it's a simple thing to do with Zoho I just can't find it. What I need to do is to make email field in my Leads unique, i.e. I can't have more than one record with the same email address. Thank you for your help L

ZohoCRM Support Sucks
I recently moved my business and 30 staff from Salesforce to ZohoCRM because I thought ZohoCRM looked like a good alternative to Salesforce at a more reasonable price. It turns out the product is about 75% as good as Salesforce, which is perfectly acceptable for the price, however ZohoCRM support is not a touch on Salesforce. How to store Segments?
Hi all We need to assign Accounts into Segments to work with them. - The segments can OVERLAP i.e. insurance companies are in Trucks - Insurance, Fleet - Insurance, Supplier segments. - There are MORE THAN 15 segments i.e. multi-value field is not a viable solution for this. - Because of segments' overlaps also the dependency between two fields e.g. Segment and Subsegment is not a solution as parent in the dependency cannot be a multi-value field. Offer attaching from the contacts view CRM
Maybe I am missing something but lets say I attach example.pdf to a contact in CRM then later send them an email and wish to attach example.pdf to the email it would be very smooth to attach right out of the "attachments" component on the contacts page. At this time I can attach direct out of zoho docs, but what if the file wasn't uploaded through Zdocs, taht means upload to Zdocs, then switch to the contacts page and attach from Zdocs. Extra steps. Why not make an attachment through the contacts

problem in inserting records

Finished with a potential- take off list but save?
I need a little help here, when I finish with a potential I want ti taken off the list yet accessible because there is a lot information to go back to when we do more business. I can make a report based on open potentials and save it but I want that report to always be showing when I click on a tab and updated in real time. Any way to do this? Thsnks, Greg
