Hello, We made a HTML support form on our website. Our customer leave their message through this form, which is sent to our support team with an automatic notification of receipt for the customer. Our support team would like to answer through Zoho with the field "Solution", with an automatic message to the customer who sent the ticket. Is it possible please ? At this moment, we can't find where to put the dynamic field with the mail adresse of the customer for answering... Thank you for your answer
clone invoice as quote
Just thought it may be handy to be able to clone an invoice as a quote. Some of our customers are happy to be invoiced immediately without being quoted but then later on they ask for alternatives at which time I then have to create a quote. It would be handy if I could just use the invoice I have created to then clone it as a quote. Cheers. Danny.

How can I create an alert to be able to email the case owner and the customer's email contact that is associated with the customer that you setup in the case? I can see how to do this with internal people but how can I create a new case, email the template to the owner of the case, and the email address on file of the customer that the case was opened on? Hi, I tried to use the CRM from my iPad, Tried to use an email template and it lets me create the email and show the template in the body of the window, but when I try to type in the body of the document, Zoho does not recognize it when I tap in the body to start typing. The iPad keyboard never appears. I also tried to submit this problem from my iPad, Zoho let me tpye the topic name (subject) but would not allow me to type in the body (the area where you are reading this). When does Zoho expect
Newbie - need help with lead creation
Hello, I am new to Zoho and am trying to find out if there are and missing sections in my 'lead creation' page. In SalesForce, when you created a lead, it had additional sections that showed options as to what a sales person did - e.g. sent email, or left v/m, spoke with client etc. This allowed us to track lead and then create reports on it. Do I have to manually build additional sections in the leads area for this, as well as follow ups and so on? Am I missing a module maybe? Please advise.

Hi There's one nice simple feature in another CRM called Insightly that I find very valuable. When your are on a contact, organisation, etc... Insightly "automagically" gives news about the entity (extracted from Google News I suppose). It's really useful to our sales team ! We use the accounts tab to keep track of all companies in our universe. This includes companies we do business with, companies who are clients, and companies we follow. E-mail template not woking in quotes
Hello, I tried to use an e-mail template when sending a quote. I clicked the drop down above the name "templates" and nothing was listed. I then went to contacts to see if I could send an e-mail and use a template, all templates were available for contacts. Can you please help me send an e-mail template from quotes? I think there may be a bug.

Is it possible to send an invoice as text in an email only? ...withoput any attachment.
Hi. I have a customer who is complaining that our invoices are being blocked by security filters that are reading it as potentially harmful email. They say that they cannot retreive it and asking to have it sent as a text file or text in an email. Is there a way to set up an email template that draws the inforamtion from the invoices module? Other than that I can't see any way to do this unless I manually create a text invoice. This only happens occasionally but it would be good to have this option.
Why doesn't Zoho Business contact have a simple sync with Zoho CRM.
There is a plug-in to sync w Microsoft Outlook, but nothing to sync with your own Business Contacts system. This would be a GREAT option.
Issues with Functionality based URLs using Lookup fields from other Forms
Hello. I'm having issues using functionally based URLs on List Views that have lookup fields from other forms. I use the specified format on the user guide with no success. Is this even possible or is there a different format for this type of url? The Zoho Creator User Guide says to use the following format: To set criteria for a view The criteria for a view can be passed as part of a query string to a view url. Multiple criterias are specified by appending it along with the URL using '&'
Need Mailing Address Fields (From Contact) in Invoices
We have just switched from using Leads - Potentials - Accounts - Contacts to just using Leads - Potentials - Contacts as this serves our business better as we deal with customers rather than companies. There is no way to add the address from contact (mailing address) to the Invoice module so it show on that module. This is essential and should be easy to do to add the fields in setup of invoice module. Also, why can't i add ${Contacts.First Names} to an email sent from potentials.....we work out

Migrating to Zoho from Salesforce..Issues with Tasks/Activity
I'm migrating from Salesforce to Zoho. I have migrated our accounts, contacts, and opportunities (potential), but am having problems migrating the Tasks/Activity. Move search icon in Zoho CRM!
When I customize "contacts" the Search icon becomes invisible on the extreme right side. This is very inconvenient. Please move the Search icon to a more visible location, e.g to the left under 'View' menu. Putting things too far to the right is a problem. Web browsers display pages from the left margin, NOT the right margin! Again, "Find Contacts" and "Total Count" should be moved in from far right. There's plenty of space to move them in. Dynamic contact record forms
I would like to have a different layout (and a corresponding set of Fields) for each type of Contact ie - Employee will have fields that would not be available in Supplier or Pospect etc. For example: the first available field on the Contact form page would be category: -employee -customer -supplier If I select 'Employee' category I will have only this-category-specific (UNIQUE) fields available ex: DOB, date employment started etc. If I select 'Supplier' category I will get a different set of fields
How to import a large database, where records do not always have lastnames?
We have a database of 30,000 records. Many do not have last names. Some do not have company names. Some do not have emails. There is no piece of data that all records have. What to do? Questions: 1. What would other users suggest as a strategy? This must be a very common issue. 2. Does Zoho CRM allow records to be indexed by something other than the last name? 3. Why not create a new, numerical column and index the records by this?
Reporting - Sales Persons Leads.
Hello, I want to be able to run a report to see how many leads each salesperson has been assigned? We assign leads to a person.....they will either close the lead with a reason or convert to a potential if there is an opportunity to sell to them. I can't see a way of tracking how many leads they have had each.......this is essential for tracking conversion rates. I can tell how many leads they converted but not over all assigned leads... Please help... Chris
Show hidden fields
It would be great if there was a button in accounts, contacts, etc. (in Zoho CRM) to show the fields that are hidden, because I don't want to see all of the data we have about customers all the time and I don't want to have to change the layout for the page every time I want to see hidden fields. Let me know what you think.

Convert Potential to Product (real estate)
For those of us in the real estate business (agents) the cycle goes like this: You get a lead on a house and if it pans out it becomes a potential Once you get the listing, the Potential is closed and labeled as "won" and then... The Potential becomes a Product - because you have to then sell the house that you just got a listing for. Is there any way to convert a Potential to a Product? More ability to manage account from the homepage/dashboard
I use the homepage a lot to have a single place to look at recent and upcoming activities and keep an eye on top prospects. It would be nice to also directly manage activities from this page, for instance by closing tasks that have been completed. Currently if I want to close a set of tasks from the homepage I have to individually select each one, go to another page, close the task, save, and then manually go back to the homepage. It takes longer than it should, and makes the process feel cumbersome
Potential Details - create and add a custom details list
Is it possible to create a custom details list on the Potentials' page? It would be dynamically populated in the same way as other lists ASSOCIATED with a Potential: Contacts, Attachments, Notes etc. Every time I would want to add a new detail I would click 'New' in my custom details list (on the Potential page) and add a new detail (based on defined field structure). How do I do it? (a) from within CRM (b) can I add a custom-made database created in Zoho Creator to Zoho CRM Potential Details ???

Purchase Order General CRM questions
Where can I edit the PurchaseOrder Template? In CREATE PURCHASE ORDER, the Address Information area has fields for "Bill To" and "Ship To". Can I populate the "Ship To" fields by picking from my list of Accounts? (This is for creating "drop ship" Purchase Orders). The Bill To field should be my own company address, why do I have to manually fill out the Bill To fields every time?? Thanks Adrian

I need a way to search all of my contacts in a specific City, State or Country. The search feature does not appear to search on these fields.
